Mentoring Advisor (Ref: MA3376) Salary: 25,000 to 35,000 per annum

Business Growth Hub are recruiting a Mentoring Advisor to deliver high quality Mentoring advice and assistance to a portfolio of
ambitious business owners and senior managers of companies looking for inspirational Mentoring for personal and professional
development.
To be Based in: Manchester City Centre.

The duties of the job include:

To handle enquiries via, phone and email, initially assessing the growth potential and business needs of Mentees using
appropriate tools, processes and systems where required.
To establish and maintain effective relationships with Mentees and Mentors
To ensure that potential Business Growth Hub programme Mentees and their companies comply with the project
eligibility criteria by ensuring that initial eligibility checks, prior to formal assessment and Mentor match making.
To ensure that Mentees only from appropriate SMEs are selected for the support on offer.
To ensure a Mentees company has had an in depth business growth assessments carried out using the Hubs common
template and methods to capture baseline data from the SMEs to identify wider needs, which can be addressed
through developing a growth action plan
To make sure Mentees are personally introduced to those Mentors identified as appropriate for them
To actively monitor mentoring relationships once established.
To work with the core Growth hub team, other Growth Managers and teams internal and external to ensure client
Mentees have a seamless journey through Hub programmes
To work in conjunction with other delivery teams to ensure that other expertise is brought in to assist eligible Mentees
and their companies to develop as necessary
To ensure that the monitoring and collection of output and impacts data is undertaken throughout the project.
To ensure all administration is completed in timely manner against deadlines and is checked for accuracy.
To represent the Growth Hub at appropriate events and contribute to the development and delivery of events targeted
at clients and partners as required.

Experience within a similar role.
Sales and Account management skills
Project Management skills
Presentation skills both written and oral
Excellent communication and networking skills
Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills
Well-developed IT skills, including an understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheets,
diary management, and e-mail.
A team player, but also a self starter
Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
Up-to-date Sector and market knowledge
The ability to identify opportunities and to be innovative.
