Per Gary Young - 100% pain control: 20 drops Valerian, 10 drops Helichrysum, 5 drops Clove
and 3 drops Peppermint. Administer in small amount of water every half hour then back off as
required. Complete surgical pain control.

Gary's own formula for reducing pain and regenerating nerve impulses resulting from
herniated disks at L4, L5 and L6, blended together and applied on location: 20 drops Vetiver, 6 drops
Idaho Balsam Fir and 5 drops Peppermint. He took this internally for pain in a 00 capsule: 19 drops
Valerian, 2 to 3 drops Clove and 2 to 3 drops Peppermint. Two (2) capsules at night are good for
about 5 hours of pain relief.

Hi everyone
Here is what I have for Gary's Pain Formula. 20 drops Valerian, 20 drops Vetiver, 10 drops
Helichrysum (substitute Elemi or Palo Santo), 5 drops Clove, 5 drops Peppermint and 10 drops Idaho
Balsam Fir. I have never personally used it but I have heard it is wonderful. Helene

Recipe for successful pain-free surgery (136 surgeries, 100 % pain-free)
10 drops Vetiver, 10 drops Valerian, 5 drops Helichrysum and 5 drops Clove. Add 3 drops of
Peppermint to give it a punch. Nancy Sanderson (Garys sister)

Elemi is good for soothing muscle and pain associated with exercise. Works well with Balsam
Fir or Basil and Balsam Fir for pain. Notes from Gary Young's training

Dear Nancy
LEW is now LEWC (Lucy). I have added Copaiba to the end of the Lemongrass, Elemi and
Wintergreen. It's awesome for pain and inflammation. Best, Debbie Hurley

Also I would like to add for those that are concerned about whether or not to use the essential
oils while taking medication. Gary says there is nothing to worry about - all Young Living Oils are
okay to use. Here's to your health, Nancy Sanderson

Dear Patti
Gary Young mentioned on one of his CD's that Valerian and Vetiver mixed equal amounts is
equivalent to morphine for pain. You may burp up a bit of "dirty sock" flavor, but it does help you to
sleep, it does help with inflammation. My husband and I are "big" people so we usually use two
capsules at night when needed. And the benefits you know they aren't going to destroy your liver or
your stomach like Ibuprofen or other pain medicines will and do. Carol Gibson

I woke up with horrible pain in my right shoulder and neck. I couldn't lift my arm without tears
rolling down my cheeks. I made up a batch of what we call Gary's pain formula (recipe included.) I
doubled the recipe, which lasted me about two days. I took two capsules of this blend every four
hours and in within two days, I had all my range of motion back and all signs of pain were gone. I
found I could fit about 14 drops in a capsule. Our upline took this after her hysterectomy and it not
only helped the pain, but the doctors were amazed at how fast she healed. 20 drops Valerian, 20

2

drops Vetiver, 10 drops Helichrysum, 5 drops Clove, 3-5 drops Peppermint and 10 drops Idaho
Balsam Fir. Blessings, Carla Sridevi Cohen

Dear Peggy and all
I now use LEW (Lemongrass, Elemi and Wintergreen), followed by Copaiba and call it LEWC
(LUCY). I love it and the difference is huge. Debbie Hurley

Hi Jill
Gary Young spoke about his mother-in-law at conference (she was also there to give her own
testimonial) who had a hip replacement and used virtually no pain medication except what they gave
her without her consent - she spit everything else out and only used what Gary gave her for healing.
He said that for pain, you use 50/50 Vetiver and Valerian, topically and in a 00 capsule. I've heard
many testimonials on the effectiveness of this combination for pain relief.
I would also add BLM, Idaho Balsam Fir, Frankincense, NingXia Red and finally, I have an old
injury in my hip (3 surgeries and told I need a hip replacement) and I use Thieves and Lemongrass
layered topically for pain and it works very well with the BLM and NingXia Red protocol I use every
day. For Emotional Detox - Release, Trauma Life and Forgiveness. For Balance through Detox
Valor and Harmony. Always remember the emotional part of healing a trauma! Hope this helps,
Namaste, Annette

Hi Elaine
In my notes from the 6-3-08 YL Product Call by YL Diamond Cherie Ross, I have the following:
For injury or surgery where pain should be gone by now, but pain memory is still in the tissue,
use Trauma Life on the area, also Release. (If you drink alcohol, sports drinks, coffee and soda they
will make a lot of scar tissue.)" Liz Moore

Gary has had 100% pain control after surgery with this blend: 20 drops Valerian, 20 drops
Vetiver, 10 drops Helichrysum and 3 drops Peppermint in 1/2 ounce water (or NingXia Red if you are
at home). The doctors worried about patients vomiting because of giving this prior to surgery but
Gary reassured them it would be OK and he was right. He is giving this to surgical patients pre- and
post-op and it is working great. (from Chicago 2006 notes at Gary's seminar)

From Convention 2006 Notes: Post surgical pain control from Gary Young's experience in
Ecuador. Gary mentioned that while this worked amazingly well for the Ecuadorian people, there was
not the same miraculous rate of success for people here in the U.S. He attributed this to stress that
western people routinely carry. Per Gary Young - 100% pain control: 20 drops Valerian, 10 drops
Helichrysum, 5 drops Clove and 3 drops Peppermint. Administer in small amount of water every half
hour then back off as required. Complete surgical pain control.

Here's my recipe for Magic Relief. Remember to put the oil in the bottle starting with Spruce
and right on down to Blue Tansy in order or you will not get the effect this blend was made for. This
will help explain the use of Magic Relief. Great for bone, joint discomfort and tissue regeneration.
Magic Relief has been used for many things. I made it for myself when I tore the muscles and
ligaments in my shoulder and was told that my hip joints were wearing out. My Grandmother had hip
replacement surgery and she said if you don't have to go through that, don't. At night I could not lie
on my sides as my hip would start aching and hurting clear down my leg. Since I made the Magic
Relief I no longer have had problems sleeping on my sides at night and this has been eight years

since I made this blend and started using it. My shoulder had healed wrong because I didn't go to a
doctor until 6 months later. I could not lift my arm let alone carry anything. I now have full use of my
arm and can carry any amount of heavy objects. This blend was used as stated in the testimony
above to regenerate the healing of the bone cause from a virus called caffey virus which had eaten a
hole almost through the of bone of a finger when antibiotic wouldn't work. To stiff neck problems,
arthritis, along with Frankincense for cancer, and chemo side effects easing the pain of cancer. To
death, making the pass over peaceful. Nancy Sanderson

Hello Oilers
A friend of mine was diagnosed with plantar fascitis. She was told that she had to get special
shoes, inserts, etc. I searched the messages and found Janet's recipe. I created my own little
version. I passed the "magic potion" on to my friend and she called me that evening to tell me that
she was "pain free! She then proceeded to apply the oil blend to her friends knee and another
friends neck, and on and on. I now have 3 orders for my "magic potion". If anyone is interested, here
is the revised recipe: 10 drops Melaleuca, 10 drops Lavender, 10 drops Wintergreen, 10 drops
Balsam Fir, 10 drops Marjoram, 10 drops Lemongrass, 10 drops Cypress, 5 drops Peppermint and
about 30-40 drops of Ortho Ease. I hope this helps someone else, just as it helped my friend. Ruth

(Pain formula from Doc Wah) The response was so great I think it best to post for everyone to
use. I include Julie's note as I agree with her reasoning. I put this formula in a brown 15 ml bottle and
mark it WW Pain. Please enjoy with Oily Blessings from Doc Wah
Pain formula: 20 drops Valerian, 20 drops Vetiver, 10 drops Helichrysum, 5 drops Clove, 5
drops Peppermint, 10 drops Idaho Balsam Fir.
Add to these 20 drops EndoFlex, 5 drops Chamomile, 20 drops Longevity, 5 drops Galbanum,
5 drops Basil, 10 drops Marjoram, 10 drops Trauma Life, 5 drops Spikenard, 10 drops SARA, 20
drops Lavender and 20 drops Frankincense.
I use this formula for extreme muscle spasm of acute nature to relax, relieve emotional stress
and calm sympathetic nerve tension. This formula also heals connective tissue. Doc Wah
(I chose to add more Peppermint for its anti-inflammatory properties and chose to add Idaho
Balsam Fir because it is so powerful in its effectiveness for pain. Julie Chertow)

For pain use Idaho Balsam Fir and Frankincense or Idaho Tansy, Lemongrass and Marjoram
or Wintergreen and Helichrysum, all topically. Or use equal parts of Valerian and Vetiver in capsules.

We have encountered the same thing. We now apply Helichrysum on booboos. Our 1 year
old slammed his fingers in the hinge part of the door. Then he stood there with all his 35 pounds and
cried for almost 2 minutes before I could figure out what was the matter. I discovered 3 fingers on his
right hand were totally flat. I grabbed the oil bag and put 1 drop of Helichrysum on the 3 fingers and
he stopped crying immediately and the fingers did not bruise at all. I used to think it was too
expensive to buy and now I can not live with out it. It has been used from bike crashes to blurred
vision to birthing this summer. Happy oils to all. Elaine

I was prescribed Tylenol 3 for pain; but instead I used Spruce topically. Locally for pain as
Spruce is analgesic and anti-inflammatory and has cortisone like action, almost instant pain relief. I
hope this helps. Happy oiling! Dave Bobst

Hi Stephanie
Have you checked you pH levels? You may want to do that. Being tired could also be bowel
problems. Maybe the Cleansing Trio would help. Regarding your father's pains, try adding
Peppermint with the PanAway. Apply PanAway then a couple of drops of Peppermint. It really hel ps,
it is like adding icing to your cake. Another one of my favorites for pain is Oregano and Peppermint.
Hope this helps you and yours. Nicole

Dear Debbie
Regarding pain or discomfort (EODR). Single Oils - Basil, Peppermint, Rosemary Verbenon
or Marjoram. Blends: Pain Away, Relieve It. Massage the oil on location or apply on VitaFlex points
on feet. Repeat as needed. Supplements: Sulfurzyme, Whey Fit, Mineral Essence, Wolfberry Bar
and Super Cal. Topical Use: Ortho Ease, Ortho Sport and Prenolone.
Pain in General (EODR) One of the most effective essential oils for blocking pain is
Peppermint. A recent study by Gobel et al., in 1994 showed that Peppermint blocks calcium channels
and substance P, important factors in the transmission of pain signals.
Other essential oils also have unique pain-relieving properties, including Helichrysum, White
Fir and Douglas fir. MSM, a source of organic sulfur, has also been proved to be extremely effective
for killing pain, especially tissue and joint pain. The subject of a best-selling book by Dr. Ronald
Lawrence and Dr. Stanley Jacobs, MSM is defining the treatment of pain, especially that associated
with arthritis and Fibromyalgia. Sulfurzyme is an excellent source of MSM.

Pain Associated with Accidents or Trauma (EODR) Single Oils: Sandalwood, Geranium.
Massage around hairline of the head and tips of the toes. Recipe 1 (pain relief): 12 drops Fir, 10
drops Melaleuca, 8 drops Lavender, 6 drops Marjoram, 3 drops Spearmint and 2 drops Peppermint.
Mix in 1 ounce V-6 Mixing Oil or Massage Oil. Supplements: Sulfurzyme, Super Cal. Topical Use:
Ortho Ease, Ortho Sport.

Hi Sharon
What got me excited about the oils in the first place was the fact that they brought me pain
relief after living with severe chronic pain for 17 years. I also have a degenerative disease that
causes terrible joint pain and it starts in late teens or early twenties. I wish I had found the oils at such
an early age, she truly is blessed to be starting on the path to health at an early age.
At 22 I walked like an 80 year old in ill health, barely getting around. Today, at 42 I feel
younger than I did in my early twenties. If I am any example your thinking is right on target. PanAway
was my "first love" among the oils and I went through it like nobody's business despite the cost. It
was the first and only thing that brought relief other than the strong narcotic painkillers I was taking to
get through the day. To begin with, the relief would wear off and the pain would return, and I might
use PanAway about 3 times a day to start with.
Eventually, the pain got permanently better and I now rarely need to use oils for pain.
Although I still have some background level of pain, it is nothing compared with what I lived with all
those years. The most amazing thing, and the greatest blessing, is that I now sleep without pain,
where before I could sleep at most 1 or 2 hours before waking up in excruciating pain. As a result, I
lived with constant fatigue. After 3 years I still wake up in the morning and am filled with awe that I
am not in pain and I feel rested after a night in bed.
Sulfurzyme is also important and digestive enzymes. Other oils that have helped me with pain
are White Fir (amazing!), Basil when muscles are spasming, Aroma Siez, Evergreen Essence and
also Regenolone.
If the pain is particularly sharp or won't seem to respond to oils, I have gotten results
immediately by applying oils FIRST on the feet, and VitaFlexing the points that corresponds to the
pain. Then I follow with the same oil on location, and relief is instant. Best of luck, Boel

Hi All
I typically thought of inhalation for balancing the emotions. One day I experimented with
physical pain and inhalation and here's what happened. I was feeling pain throughout my body and
just did not feel like applying any oils. I lay down to rest with my bottle of PanAway and just started to
inhale. I took several deep breaths and with in a matter of ten minutes I was up and minus the body
pain. It was incredible but not really a mystery. When we inhale the fragrant molecules of essential
oils, they are passed into the lungs, into the blood and ultimately carried to other parts of the body. I
felt relief throughout my whole body. My skeptical friends have helped me a lot because they

7

challenge me to meet them where they are and share what I know as simply as I can. Mary

Hi Maureen and all Joyous Friends
Last June (2002) I was experiencing pain throughout my body and when muscle tested by my
chiropractor, he found that my hormones were really out of balance. I started using Prenolone Plus
morning and evening, 3 Sulfurzyme with 3 Super C a day (1 each with each meal) and 2 Master Hers
a day (1 morning and night). I had a noticeable change in pain level within 1 week. I am happy to
report that I have not had this problem since and have tested as hormone balanced every time I've
seen my chiropractor.
I was told (I believe at the Young Life Research Clinic in Utah) that Sulfurzyme is more easily
assimilated if taken with Vitamin C. So now I always take the 2 together.
If it was me, I would find someone certified in AK (Applied Kinesiology) or someone proficient
at muscle testing to determine what the body says is required for this situation. You might find
someone already in your YLEO organization who knows how to acquire the body's own knowledge of
the cause of this difficulty, or find someone new who might then become a member of your
organization. I now have several Chiropractors, an Osteopath and several RNs in my group. One of
the Chiropractors is very adept at AK and very helpful in determining the source of bodily challenges.
Each and all of them are wonderful folks that enrich my life and my understanding of this wondrous
creation we call the body. I didn't go after them, just put out the intent that I would appreciate the
opportunity to work with and learn from Chiropractors and health care professionals and they came to
publicized meetings I held in our town, or they were referred to me through friends. If I had someone
facing this sort of issue and didn't know who to refer them to, I would make an effort to find out who
among the local chiropractors was doing AK and focusing on that in their daily practice, practice
makes perfect they say. Then I would refer my client to that Chiropractor and do appropriate follow-
up with the client and the Chiropractor.
On another note, this sort of systemic challenge may have an emotional root. If other factors
are ruled out, then look for an emotional basis for the challenge. I have found that Dr. Carolyn Mein's
book Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils is a true God sent work that provides all the
information necessary to be able to identify and work with the emotional source of many bodily
challenges. Carolyn Mein is a Chiropractor in Southern California, very well versed in AK, who also
includes a section in her book that teaches you how to do muscle testing for yourself and others. A
must have for any essential oils library, I highly recommend it. Blessings and healing light flow to you
and those you serve, Jacqui Close

Pain relief - 12 drops Fir, 10 drops Melaleuca, 8 drops Lavender, 6 drops Marjoram, 3 drops

PanAway is also powerful for pain reduction. When applied to VitaFlex points on the feet, it
can act as fast as within 3 seconds. Alternate with Relieve It. These 2 blends are a powerful
combination for deep tissue pain that is not bone-related. Any oil found by the above selection
process may be added to a blend, such as PanAway, to increase the effect. Hot packs drive the oils
faster and deeper when applied on location (see compress).
Sandalwood and Geranium rubbed around hairline of the head and tips of the toes may help
pain related to accidents, traumas, etc.

Mic
I just had a call from one of my clients. Her husband is a stroke victim of about 10 years and
during the night he took a fall. He is also a client. She said he was in a great deal of pain in his
lumbar area (low back) and on the front rib area. I went to their home taking my RDT kit and the

8

NeuroGen cream. After making certain there were no broken bones and no areas of dark bruising, I
began by patting the Aroma Siez all over the areas in pain. I then used the NeuroGen to aid in gliding
my hands over the back and ribs. Just my lightest touch made him wince in pain. Next I dripped the
Cypress into my palms and rubbed them together and patted them over the tender areas. I continued
with light upward strokes and cross-fiber strokes which I use in my practice when ever there is pain,
until I could see he was becoming more comfortable. In less than 20 minutes the pain was gone and
he was smiling saying "good-good"! I finished off with Peppermint, and had him sit on the edge of the
bed. I asked him to take a deep breath and turn at the waist while seated. He smiled and gave me
two thumbs up! I credit the oils and the NeuroGen in giving me the tools to "erase" pain, even in
injuries such as this. Cathy Grubtill, CMT

Interesting side note - If you ever have fluorescent Orange poop - that's dead yeast (Candida)!
It's the coolest thing.
You can demonstrate the effects of free radicals on the body and how to prevent their damage
using an apple and Lemon juice. Put an apple into several slices and lay them on a dish. Dip one or
two apple slices into Lemon juice and lay them next to the uncoated pieces. Within a short time the
uncoated pieces will begin to turn brown. This is the result of free radical damage to the apple. The
Lemon coated pieces will remain crisp and untarnished. This is the result of anti-oxidants protecting
the meat of the apple. What anti-oxidants do for the apple they will do for your body. Jim, LynnGroup

I will tell you there are 2 things that have helped me with chronic pain, such as arthritis, etc.
One is PanAway applied to the affected area and Sulfurzyme supplement, taken orally. Regenolone
is also a great balm for those achy moments. The best to you! Paula

Rudy
First tell Lynn that she is in our prayers! Next I would slather her with Peppermint Oil. I would
also look at Relieve It. Also My dad uses Lemongrass, Wintergreen, Marjoram all layered under
Peppermint. (The rule is Birch (Wintergreen) for bones, Marjoram for muscles and Lemongrass for
ligaments). I really feel that this is a case of "less is NOT more". I would use 10 drops of each oil and
let them sit! Also consider Regenolone. It is a TREMENDOUS pain cream! Be sure she is taking
Sulfurzyme to help the tissues heal. And remember that there are worse things than having to take a
couple of pain pills to get through the worst of the pain! Have a super day! Jessica Wild

Hi
Another great oil for pain for me after a car accident is Idaho Balsam Fir and Helichrysum for
tissue regeneration. Peppermint also helps reduce inflammation. Hope this helps, Nicole

Dear Eireen
Any of the oils would be helpful. Use what you have and have someone rub your spine, back,
neck, shoulders and hips. Or, if you don't have someone who can do it for you, do what you can with
what you have. If that had happened to me, I'd be getting a Raindrop every day for a week and then
go to once a week for awhile probably at least 2 - 3 months. Trauma Life, Helichrysum,
Frankincense, any of the Raindrop oils - Basil (reduces muscle spasms), Wintergreen (natural
cortisone-like effect), Cypress (supports circulation), Marjoram (supports muscles), Aroma Siez
(reduces muscle tension), and even a little Oregano and Thyme, which are great to reduce
inflammation, and Valor. Hope everyone's having a fabulous weekend! Vicki Opfer

Hello
When I was in a car accident this past winter I injured the right side of my neck. What worked
for me was Oregano and Wintergreen rubbed on the location. I also used Peace and Calming as I
was shaken up, too. Hope this helps, Jacky

Eireen
Since you didn't mention broken bones, I assume the soreness is mainly from bruised
muscles. Marjoram is fantastic for sore muscles. If you are using it on large areas you might want to
dilute it with a little V-6 but for most areas I use it straight. You might also try Ortho Ease. It is
already blended with essential oils. And remember to drink lots of water. Anytime the body is healing
it needs extra water. Don't forget your immune system in general. When the body is in stress (an
accident certainly qualifies), your immune system is compromised. Young Living has a lot of products
specifically for building and supporting the immune system. Check your supplies and the EODR to
see what is best for you. Keep us posted on your progress. Jacke Myers

Good evening
I have a new suggestion from my chiropractor who works with massage therapists that use
Young Living products. She loves M-Grain for use on sore, tight muscles and ligaments. She
expressed that it works better for pain management than PanAway, etc. She would feel that the
Lavender and the Roman Chamomile are extra boosts to the other oils in the blends to help in
relaxing the muscles. I have not tried the blend in this way, but have layered the eight Raindrop oils
on my aching back and then put Lavender and Roman Chamomile on last. I have felt relief from a lot
of pain. Cynthia

Dear Scout
My brother has a problem with his jaw and has had it operated on several times. I had him try
Peppermint neet on it and the pain has gone away. Some people cannot use Peppermint neet so you
can mix it with a good mixing oil, using five or six drops to a teaspoon of mixing oil. You can also
put the Peppermint on your brain stem, fingertips and toe tips. These areas are the ends of the
nerves, so it works in 3 directions to open up the nerve channels. Putting the Peppermint directly on
the area of pain puts oxygen directly into the cells, which alleviates the pain. Hope it works for you.
Ray

Hello, try Relieve It. That took my pain away. Terrie Woznicki

Hi All
My daughter was riding her scooter, the pedal type and hit a bump in the road. She fell off
hard onto her left knee and skidded along as the scooter kept going along for a short way. When the
scooter stopped and she went to get up she looked down and her knee was bleeding profusely. By
the time she hobbled in the door her knee, her leg and her hands from holding the knee were covered
with blood.
The first thing we did was wash everything off so we could get an idea of what the injury was.
What we discovered was that she had a very deep gash the entire length of her kneecap and worse, it
was embedded with gravel from the road. We tried to flush the gravel out of the wound with water
pressure, but the gravel was sticking to the wound and wouldn't budge and my daughter was howling
with pain.
I knew Clove had some numbing properties so I grabbed it and started pouring it over her

10

wound. Within about 10 seconds she started to calm down. We had her move to the sofa where we
poured even more Clove Oil over the wound. She said at that point that it didn't hurt very much and
she was feeling relaxed. So I poured more Clove over the gash, my husband opened the gash on
either side with his fingers and I was able to tweeze all the gravel from the wound while my daughter
sat calmly watching TV! She said she felt nothing! It was really incredible! The Clove enabled us to
completely clean out the wound and then wash it out with Thieves Soap without any pain! We always
knew it was good stuff, but we didn't know it was THAT good!
But wait theres more! After we got done tweezing and washing, the wound was bleeding
quite a bit so we dumped quite a lot of Helichrysum in the wound and then we bandaged it. The next
morning, the wound had completely knitted together. It was unbelievable. This was a SERIOUS gash
that was entirely closed in about 12 hours time. Kathie

Dear Terry
I have used Peppermint for a lot of muscle pain but when that doesn't work (for some people)
I've switched to Vetiver and some have found relief with it. Good oiling to you. Ray

Ellie (woman with horrific pain)
What's your blood type? I know people with O blood type who were killing themselves by
trying to eat a "healthy" vegetarian. One lady who suffered with pain all over and constant migraines
went strict vegetarian because she figured this was the best way to clean herself of toxins. After
years of this she had gained a tremendous amount of weight, the pain had gotten even worse and she
felt like she was next to death (She's in her 30's).
Six months ago, she found an herbalist who urged her to start eating according to her blood
type and O's need lots of meat. Although this was almost sacrilege, she finally decided there wasn't
much to lose. I met her recently at a class being held by the herbalist. The first class, this vibrant gal
stood up and testified what a difference the new way of eating had made. She had lost 87 pounds
and was pain free. Actually, the pain disappeared within the first few days. Pay attention to this blood
type stuff. It seems to make a huge difference. Caleb

Use Elemi with Basil and Idaho Balsam Fir for pain. Can be used with Helichrysum. Use
Elemi and Black Pepper for bone inflammation.

You also mentioned pain. Perhaps PanAway, Relieve It, Ortho Sport or Ortho Ease could be
helpful.

Blend Helichrysum and Idaho Balsam, apply topically. In double 00 capsules put half -and-half
Valerian and Vetiver and take every 2 hours for 3 days. Valerian sedates both the para-sympathetic
and sympathetic nervous systems. Vetiver is anti-inflammatory. After about 6 days one may get
digestive upset. Change to 19 drops of Valerian add 3 drops of Peppermint to help soothe digestion if
you want to continue ingestion for pain.

In experience of just having a tooth pulled, the pain was terrible, I used Vetiver and Valerian in
a capsule and it helped with the pain, plus helped me sleep at night, which was when the pain was the
worst. Penny

Hi Jacqui

11

Use Helichrysum and Birch or Wintergreen. I'd highly recommend PanAway, as it has the
Helichrysum and Wintergreen, along with Clove (anti-inflammatory) and Peppermint (very cooling).
This cooling effect reduces pain so much! It helped me with my leg that broke under my knee and
had to be held together with a metal plate and seven large screws! And right now there is such a
great deal on PanAway! I have put PanAway in Regenolone or NeuroGen and rubbed that on the
painful area and it works wonders! Namaste, Heather Joy

Here is a pain formula that I use - Lemongrass, Wintergreen, Peppermint and in that order.
You have Lemongrass for any ligaments, Wintergreen for bone and Peppermint to drive it all in, which
helps with pain as well.
I find this better and less expensive that PanAway, for me anyway. Also I remember that
Relive It is supposed to work for generalized pain. I remember a tape that Gary said he formulated
this for heel pain Mary was having. Charla Sirtoff

Idaho Balsam Fir is great for relieving stress, lowering cortisol levels, pain, inflammation and
burns, throat/lung/sinus infections, arthritis, rheumatism, urinary tract infections, scoliosis, lumbago
and sciatica. The Medical Properties are anticoagulant and anti-inflammatory.

Vitamin B is really good for nerves. I had pain along the nerves years back, sent me to the
hospital with $1,000s of dollars worth of tests. Diagnosis - You have pain. Heres some strong pain
drugs. Gee, thanks. My upline told me that you can have neuralgia, pain along the nerves from lack
of Vitamin B. I ordered some and within 24 hours the pain was gone and has never returned. To
think something so simple can help after all I went through. Roman Chamomile and Helichrysum
were suggested in the reference guide and I use them regularly but the Vitamin B was the lifesaver.

I used Young Living Essential PanAway, Relieve It and Lavender for the pain then added
Present Time for the Lupus. At first I used PanAway every 20 minutes. Now I use it just twice a day.
I am off ALL my pain medicine. Don't even take Motrin or Aspirin and NOW feel I have a life again
thanks to Young Living Essential Oils. Blessings, Alicia

20 drops Vetiver, 6 drops Idaho Balsam Fir and 5 drops Peppermint. Apply topically.

19 drops Valerian, 2 to 3 drops Clove or 2 to 3 drops Peppermint. Two 00 capsules at night
are good for about 5 hours of pain.

Hi Jill
Gary Young spoke about his mother in law at conference (and she was also there to give her
own testimonial), who had a hip replacement and used virtually no pain medication (except what they
gave her without her consent - she spit everything else out!) and only used what Gary gave her for
healing.
He said that for pain, you use 50/50 Vetiver and Valerian, topically and in a 00 capsule. I've
heard many testimonials on the effectiveness of this combination for pain relief.
I would also add BLM, Idaho Balsam Fir, Frankincense, NingXia Red and finally, I have an old
injury in my hip (3 surgeries and told I need a hip replacement) and I use Thieves and Lemongrass,
layered, topically for pain and it works very well with the BLM and NingXia Red protocol I use every

12

day.
For Detox (Emotional) - Release, Trauma Life, Forgiveness. For Balance through Detox -
Valor, Harmony. Always remember the emotional part of healing a trauma! Namaste, Annette

Kathy Kouwe was just telling us at a local meeting about how Thieves will knock out tooth pain
and has even been known to regenerate nerves in damaged, blackened and dying teeth. I tried it the
other day on a sore tooth and POOF, the pain was gone in 2 minutes! Best, Joyce Stotts

I had severe neck pain and tried acupuncture, chiropractic, cranial sacral and reconnective
work. None of those helped. So I stopped all treatments and took BLM! I take 4 a day and am totally
pain-free. April Travis

You can get off of pain medications using Balsam in a capsule. I have done it twice. Use it
just like pain medication - 10 drops every four hours. Jessica Wild

The grandchildren came to spend the weekend with us and they were playing with my bungee
cord with handles on each end that I use to exercise. Zac was standing in one room and Kimberlee
took off with the other end running into the kitchen. As she came to the end of the stretched cord, it
snapped out of her hand and came flying back to Zac and cracked him right across the index finger.
He started jumping up and down and went running to the bedroom trying not to cry. He came back to
show me his finger and it was already twice the size it should have been and black and blue.
At first I thought it was broken, plus it was hurting him like the dickens. I quickly got the
PanAway but there was only less then a drop in the bottle which just barely got his finger wet. Not
wanting to have him wait for me to go get another bottle I picked up Believe and put it on with Ortho
Ease and then Peppermint. Poor little guy was hurting so bad I had to act fast. I asked how it was
feeling after I put the oils on and he said it wasn't hurting as much as it was.
Fifteen minutes later the pain was all gone and they were back to playing. An hour later it was
time to send them to bed and I asked how his finger was and he said okay. I looked at it and I could
not believe my eyes. The black and blueness was gone and the swelling was almost completely
down. As I said that was an hour later. Thank goodness for the wonderful oils, because he would
have been in pain all night long and finger would have been black and blue for days not to mention
how long it would have taken for the swelling to go down. Nancy Sanderson

The recipe for the Fibromyalgia Blend 2 is 10 drops PanAway, 8 drops Wintergreen, 8 drops
Marjoram and 6 drops Spruce. I mix up a big bottle with a glass dropper in it for use at work. I have
been using it on a lady with knee pain from exercising and dancing. Two weeks ago she fell whi le
dancing and I have applied the Fibromyalgia Blend to her knees twice with warm compresses. Today
she came in for a massage and said for me to watch her. She was squatting and kicking up her legs.
She is really impressed with how good she feels after the oils. For my clients I use either V6 or Ortho
Ease first then the Fibromyalgia Blend. On myself I use it neet. Sometimes during a massage I feel
the need for the oil then I just apply it over whatever lotion or oil is already on the skin. Everybody
loves it. Such great results. Love my oils, Linda

Start each day with AlkaLime to balance pH. Pain cannot exist in an alkaline environment.

Use Lemongrass, Elemi and Wintergreen for pain.

Helichrysum came to the rescue when I took my toenail off and I used Helichrysum and Idaho
Balsam Fir together and it took all pain away. So for severe pain use the two together. Plus my
toenail grew back fast. You can see why Helichrysum is always in my first aid kit. Nancy Sanderson

It is amazing how many of us have painful joints and achy bodies. My pains were in my arms
and shoulders, to the point that shaking hands was a lesson in pain! I started using 1 ounce of
NingXia Red each morning and 2 Sulfurzyme in the morning and evening. Within two weeks all the
pain was gone and has not returned in nine months.
I shared this with a mechanic friend whose knees had been giving him a lot of problems. He
had been using Glucosamine which had eventually helped his pain but had given him some nasty
side effects. He stopped the Glucosamine and started using the NingXia Red and Sulfurzyme like I
was. His pain stopped in three days and there were no side effects! He is sharing the good news
with his fellow mechanics. Perhaps they will join the ranks of the strong and healthy.
Many of us have these sort of daily pains that are really slowing us down. Trying this regimen
for a few months may change your life. It did for the both of us! Your friend, Tom

Palo Santo has been shown to help with depression, stop cancer from growing. Using a
combination of Palo Santo and Frankincense for pain and for bone rejuvenation (including Idaho
Balsam Fir) will shorten recuperation time.

Hello
I woke up this morning with an awful pain in my lower right back. Its an old injury area. I don't
recall doing anything that triggered this. I was planning on going to take a class at the gym just 45
minutes after waking up. I could not bend forward AT ALL, I could not turn to my left or right AT ALL.
It hurt me to breathe in.
I have no interest in having this back pain ever, ever again. The pain was right on the edge of
it being really close to how it felt with my last injury several years ago. I drank my Ningxia Red, I took
AlkaLime in water and my Omega Blue and Longevity capsule and went right for my oils. I must have
lathered 15 different oils on continually for 15 minutes. They helped for sure, but the pain was still
there. I thought what did Gary teach us to do for pain?
Ahh YES! He just showed us the results of using 4 different oils for 200 post surgery patients.
He revealed to us that 200 people out of 200 had 100% pain control with using these 4 oils right after
surgery. I thought OK, this has got to work because I am just not into this kind of pain and I AM going
to the gym! I found the recipe in my notes from convention... 20 drops of Valerian, 10 drops of
Helichrysum, 3 drops of Clove and 3 drops of Peppermint.
As I was pouring the oils into my capsules I was thinking this is an expensive formula and that
only lasted about 10 seconds before I thought No! Expensive is being out of work as a massage
therapist and not being able to work for weeks, let alone not being able to move and walk normally. If
this worked for 200 people it just has to work for me!
Within 10 minutes of taking the capsules I was out of the severe pain. I thought, go lie on ice,
go put more oils on. No, I choose to see what this pain formula would do. Within 20 minutes I bent
over and put my shoes on and was out the door to the gym.
Burping my oils up (we are supposed to!) all the way to the gym I thought I am going to try this
and just be really cautious and go slow. Within 1/2 hour I was 95% free of pain and was working out
with 10 pound weights and twisting, lunging, doing core strength work pain free! It worked and I only
did one dose of this treatment all day and I am still out of pain tonight! Thank God!
I don't call this a miracle any more. All the compounds and properties are there in nature. For
the last 10 years since I started using the oils for myself and my bodywork clients I have seen

14

consistent phenomenal changes and results both physically and emotionally.
Just to let you know, I used 20 different brands of essential oils for 14 years with my bodywork
clients before I ever heard of Young Living oils and NEVER EVER saw one result. I used them
because I felt drawn to oils and because they smelled good.
The reason why our oils are so effective is because of a man named Gary Young and his
knowledge, tenacity and years of study and research around the world. Not only that he is a master
agriculturist, farmer and distiller which is why our oils work!
I just LOVE having yet another personal testimonial! If you are in any sort of pain USE THIS
FORMULA! In a size "00" veggie cap (you will need 2) put 20 drops of Valerian, 10 drops of
Helichrysum, 3 drops of Clove and 3 drops of Peppermint. IT WORKS! Tried, Tested and True!
Blessings! Julie Chertow

Hello
I did remember Gary Young sharing with us at convention that he put them on topically but
also had them drink this pain formula in water because I am sure it would be difficult for post surgery
people to take capsules. However, I was not post-surgery and chose not to taste all those oils in
water. It was capsules all the way for me!
I say when you are in pain or have any kind of acute situation what I do, I take our oils in
capsules, put them on topically, drop them under my tongue (if they're not too hot)! Drink them,
diffuse them and saturate, saturate, saturate! One of these ways is going to work! I try one way and
if it does not work or it is just working a little, I try another way or add another oil or two. I do feel to
take a teaspoon of AlkaLime first is highly beneficial because the oils work much more effectivel y in
an alkalized environment. And by the way I am still completely out of pain. It never came back.
Blessings! Julie Chertow

So here is my cure for pain - five drops of PanAway right under my tongue. Keep your
tongue tight up against the roof of your mouth for several minutes and there will be no stinging at all.
If you relax the tongue just a little and get some oils on the sides of your tongue it will sting for a little
bit. Give it 15 minutes and you will see a difference. Hope this helps. Maynard

Hi Fran
I've been finding that if I put NeuroGen on first, before layering various oils like PanAway,
Helichrysum and the Raindrop oils I get much better results. I even like the NeuroGen and the
Regenolone by themselves quite well. NeuroGen was designed more for the protection and support
of nerves and Regenolone was designed more for everyday aches and pains, but I like to try each
one to see which one works better for a particular situation. If this were my friend, I'd definitely share
the creams with him and then I might apply PanAway, Helichrysum, Trauma Life, Peppermint and I
would offer to apply the cream and then apply all of the Raindrop Oils in sequence on the foot. This is
a bit of a "shotgun approach" because it gives the body thousands of different kinds of molecules to
use for repair and regeneration. Good Luck! Vicki Opfer

First of all I understand completely. I was diagnosed with Chronic Myofascial Pain - which is
the trigger points for Fibromyalgia AND bulging discs, so I know all about chronic muscle pain plus
Renee who is in my downline knows all about Lupus having had it for several years.
Now having been in a lot of pain - cramping muscle pain, I have investigated a lot of oils that
help for antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory and muscle pain relief. Perhaps your upline can help you
with some of these oils. I was mixing oils together, experimenting and came across a blend that is a
vasodilator and sort of like an YL Icy Hot. It goes on hot and warms the area, relaxes the muscle then
cools down.

15

I mix this up into a 15 ml bottle then fill the rest with V6. Renee swears that she is now able to
sleep through the night and it has helped her tremendously and it has worked quite well with me. So I
would say that we have two testimonials with Lupus and Chronic Myofascial Pain that this works well
with.
I named this my Total Eclipse, as when I use it the pain simply vanishes. It is pretty much
singles right now although there are a few blends. I am working to break it down to the singles to be
more cost effective. The singles for the blends are in ()
Total Eclipse - 10 drops Peppermint, 10 drops Cypress, 20 drops Aroma Siez (Marjoram), 15
drops Pine, 10 drops Chamomile, 5 drops Clove, 2 drops PanAway (Wintergreen), 5 drops Vetiver, 6
drops Relieve It (Black Pepper or Hyssop) and 6 drops of Palo Santo. Fill bottle to top with V6 and
shake well. Good Luck, Katherine (Kady) Dineen

I have arthritis in my back, maybe a different situation as yours, but I have found great if not
total relief by using Palo Santo on my back and having someone rub it in down my spine. I find I can
go a week pain-free before I need another application. Hope this helps, Becky Nilson

Hi Angela
Pain is usually caused by acid build up in the body which causes inflammation. Sulfurzyme,
AlkaLime, NingXia Red, MultiGreens all reduce acid and of course drink lots of water. Putting Lemon
in the water is great to do! When we use oils on a body that is acidic, the oils are all used up by trying
to alkalize the body and have little power left for the healing part. It's very important to be pH
balanced or slightly alkalized! Love and light, Stanlee

I also told her about a little recipe that seems to be working for my parents, who also suffer
from chronic pain. They use 5 drops Idaho Balsam Fir, 3 drops Vetiver and 1 drop Oregano. These
three oils are listed as oils that should be used for Rheumatism. Irma

Another pain remedy I've been using with success - gin soaked white raisins. Take a box of
white raisins (must be the white/golden ones) and pour them in a glass pie plate. Pour up to a fifth of
gin over them to completely cover them and let them sit for up to a week until the raisins completely
soak up the gin. Put them in a covered jar and keep them in the refrigerator. Eat 9 raisins a day
(some people eat 12) and see the difference in arthritis, pain, stiffness. It really is quite remarkable. It
takes just a couple days to begin noticing the difference. They do not taste like gin. This is also a
remedy used for restless leg syndrome. Love, Annette/Memphis

(Fell in bathtub) I am so glad to hear you are using Ortho Sport. Many people forget to use
our massage oils or creams. You've chosen some great oils. To answer your question, I would break
out the big dogs - Vetiver and Valerian. For such a large area, I would put 2 tablespoons of a carrier
oil like V6 or Olive oil in the palm of my hand and add 3-5 drops each of Vetiver and Valerian. They
sure stink but their effects can be felt within the hour and because they are such powerful at healing
injuries, most of your healing will take place in the first two or three days so that in most cases, you
won't have to keep using it thereafter for pain.
Two years ago we learned to keep Vetiver and Valerian in our emergency kit. My out-of-
shape husband pulled the muscles in his thighs playing basketball with the kids. We put Ortho Sport
on his legs and I gave him a capsule of five drops Vetiver and five drops Valerian. The second night
we did the same thing (only at night because he didn't want to stink at work.) and he said he didn't
need them anymore.
My son was beat up in school and came home with his elbow and forearm three times its

16

normal size. Vetiver and Valerian with Frankincense reduced his swelling and bruising so much that
the following Monday the principal didn't even believe he was beat up.
Just two weeks ago, my daughter was using a steak knife to cut an orange when she cut her
finger to the bone. I always use Frankincense to stop bleeding and add Melrose for regeneration and
to prevent infection. We flipped the finger over and added two drops each of Vetiver and Valerian.
(We always have them smell the bottle of Valerian to calm them down during an injury.) Within the
hour her pain level went from 10 to zero and she didn't ever need the Vetiver and Valerian anymore
after that. I always keep three bottles of Vetiver and Valerian in our oil closet. Tiffany Rowan

Also for those who know Dr. LeAnne Deardeuff, she told me I could share that RutaVaLa
has been the one oil that has been such a blessing to her as she heals from the car accident, then
heart attack and stroke. It has been great for dealing with the pain and for calming nerves and
allowing her to sleep. With joy, Quin Stringham

Cheryl
Here is the pain formula - equal portions of Valerian, Vetiver and about 1/3rd Helichrysum of
what you put of the other two. Then add a few drops of Peppermint and Clove. You might ask Shirley
from California to be sure I got this right. I think you can take it internally from a capsule or put it on
where you hurt. Hope this helps, Kitty

Jeri
I've been using the pain formula (10 drops Vetiver, 10 drops Valerian, 5 drops Helichrysum, 3
Clove and 3 Peppermint all in a 00 capsules. You'll need 2 capsules as it doesn't fit in one) with
excellent results for terrible lingering neck pain due to 2 car accidents. I was amazed at the results, in
terms of pain relief. Julie Chertow wrote about using this combination recently for post-surgical pain
in lieu of pain medications, also with good results. He may need more than 1 dose at a time to help
with the pain, so I'd encourage him to experiment for what is right for him. Topically, Idaho Balsam
Fir, NeuroGen or Regenolone, and Relieve It may also help, but it was the internal formula that helped
my pain the most (taking oils orally in capsules). HTH, Rachel

To help for the pain of Gout or any kind of pain: 20 drops Valerian, 10 drops Helichrysum, 3
drops Clove and 3 drops Peppermint in 1 ounce of water. The pain goes away very slow and stays
away all day and night. In three days time the swelling from gout will go down. Mix all together and fill
a cap full and take or Gary has his patients take the whole amount in water or apple juice. Nancy
Sanderson

Hi group
Yesterday my husband (who snorts when I suggest using the oils) was complaining about
pains in his legs and knees. He had been going up and down on a stepladder and one of his legs
was significantly swollen. I asked him if he wanted me to put some oil on his legs. He has used Palo
Santo in the past for knee pain so he agreed. I had made a mixture of Ortho Sport, Oregano, Spruce
and Cypress which I had been using on my own foot (surgery). I told him I didn't know if it would work
but within five minutes he said the pain and stiffness were gone! These oils are amazing and I just
wanted to share one more success story with all of you. Happy oiling, Cheryl Soucier

This is what I did for a friend who skinned her knee badly in August: Purification to clean the
wound (it bled more - good to clean it out), Lavender for skin and Deep Relief for pain and to stop
bleeding (thanks to the Helichrysum). She complained about the pain so I decided to try Deep Relief
and in seconds she had NO PAIN! She was blown away and bought some.
I had never tried Deep Relief on open wounds, but got near instant pain relief when my van
door slammed shut on my elbow. Best of all, I had very little bruising. She didn't have bruising either
and it scabbed over very quickly. I keep Deep Relief around all the time and use it on my massage
clients. Sherry

I have to say I love Elemi. It is part of my LEW protocol that my brilliant daughter came up
with. Lemongrass, Elemi and Wintergreen layered in that order for pain it is amazing and the relief is
immediate. Debbie Hurley

Hi Camilla
For chronic pain one of the best combinations is BLM and Sulfurzyme. I take 6 of each spread
over the day for chronic back and neck pain and have noticed a HUGE difference in pain decreasing.
HTH, Rachel

Hello
I have had great results with Copaiba. I use it on my knees twice a day and have little to no
pain! Peace Imagined, Paula

Hello group
This formula is good for muscle spasms, arthritic pain or sore cramped muscles. I start with 1
ounces Ortho Sport. To this I add 10 drops PanAway, 10 Drops Spruce, 10 drops Vetiver, 10 drops
Basil, 10 drops Relieve It, 10 drops Wintergreen, 5 drops Cypress, 5 drops Balsam Fir, 5 drops Sage,
5 drops Oregano and 5 drops Palo Santo.
Always caution about nut allergies as Ortho Sport has almond oil. I eliminate or reduce to 5
drops the Wintergreen if someone is taking lots of Ibuprofen. Happy oiling, Cheryl Soucier

One lady that Gary worked on only had 3% reduction in her pain with Marjoram and he had
gone through all the oils except Oregano and when he applied Oregano her pain stopped. So this
told us that she had a virus in her muscle.

Hi Bettie
I would take 2-3 drops of Copaiba under the tongue or in a shot of NingXia Red 2-3 times a
day (or sometimes as needed when the pain returns). Do this for an entire month - you'll be amazed.
We have many people with chronic pains that are amazed by the power of Copaiba. Sometimes they
have to take it up to 8 times a day at first, but then it gets down to a maintenance level or none at all.
It has amazingly powerful NSAID activity. No more Tylenol Melissa Shelton, DVM

Dear Ones
Back in '97 I had just joined YL and as a newbie I had no idea how to use the oils and we
ONLY had our own stories to go by since the Higleys were in process of writing their book and YL
had not started theirs. We had meetings where we would share our experiences. A woman gave a
testimonial that RC got rid of her arthritis that had settled in her elbow. RC is Respiratory Congestion,

18

who would have thunk?
I had been wondering what to do about my left wrist. When I would bend my hand back a
massive sharp pain would run up my arm and I would drop whatever I was picking up. I thought I
would try it. I used 3 drops of RC and rubbed it into the wrist at bedtime, the next morning no pain.
That lasted for 4 days and it came back with a vengeance. I thought that perhaps there were a lot of
calcium deposits that the oils had to eat up. I repeated the same for 3 evenings. The next morning
again the pain was gone. After the 3
rd
day I have not needed to use the oils again. I also built my
business on that story. Remember, the oils need to eat up the acid on its way to the location that you
want the oils to get to. 3 drops may not do it for you. Work with it until there is no pain. Emma

PanAway is powerful for pain reduction. When applied on location or to the VitaFlex points on
the feet, it can act within seconds. Alternate with Relieve It. These 2 blends are a powerful
combination for deep-tissue pain as well bone-related pain.

One of the most effective oils for blocking pain is Peppermint. A recent study in 1994 showed
that Peppermint Oil is extremely effective in blocking calcium channels and substance P, important
factors in the transmission of pain signals. Other essential oils also have unique pain-relieving
properties, including Helichrysum, Idaho Balsam Fir and Douglas Fir.

Nancy Sanderson created a favorite formula for muscular and structural overuse which I got
last year and have really benefited from using. Magic Relief Formula: 8 drops Spruce, 8 drops
Sandalwood, 7 drops Fir, 5 drops Hyssop, 4 drops Lemongrass, 4 drops Helichrysum, 4 drops Birch
[currently replacing this with Wintergreen], 2 drops German [blue] Chamomile and 1 drop Blue Tansy
mixed in 1 ounce V-6. German Chamomile and Blue Tansy can be obtained from Young Living's
Creer Labs [801] 465-5423. I mix this up in multiple batches and apply it directly over the painful area
followed by Regenolone or Ortho Sport. Very often, since I have been dealing with multiple areas of
discomfort over a long period of time, I apply it to the soles of my feet after Valor and covering with
Animal Scents Ointment. Joyfully, Claire

Roz
I recently had success with the pain formula that Gary created for reducing pain and
regenerating nerve impulses. 20 drops Vetiver, 6 drops Idaho Balsam Fir and 5 drops Peppermint.
Laura Terwilliger

Hi Everyone
Rose, you might want to try Ortho Sport if you haven't already, or Regenolone Cream. They
are awesome for discomfort. Ortho Sport is also in a massage oil base and I find it a little more
effective than Ortho Ease. In fact, I twisted my hip this morning as I was preparing for a family dinner
party and I was in a lot of pain. I rubbed myself down with Ortho Sport, NeuroGen (no longer
available) and Frankincense and the pain subsided quickly. I've been pain free since. I cant imagine
what life would be like without oils. How sad for those who don't know about them yet. Vicki Opfer

Dear Carole
I picked up on the end of this email that you have pain in your legs. When I get that, I always
rub Oregano on my feet as I slip into bed. The next morning or even awhile later, the pain is gone.
Oregano is a very strong anti-inflammation oil! Best to all, Joyce Stotts

I had a bad car accident a year ago and hurt my back and a dear friend dropped in and used
Aroma Siez and Helichrysum the next day. After two applications the back pain was gone and has
not returned. Last week I was walking in a mall downtown Calgary and I slipped on something wet
and fell. I hurt my right foot that I slipped with. By the time I got on the bus to come home, I was
limping, my foot was so sore. It was swollen and bruised when I got home. I used those two oils right
away, a little later that evening and before I went to bed. When I woke up the next morning, the
swelling was gone, the color was back to normal and the pain was gone. It is a week later now and
still no pain. Donna

Tonight my 3 year old son pinched his two middle fingers badly in the hinge of the little door to
the gas tank of one of our cars. He screamed with the pain and forced his fingers out and continued
crying with the pain. His fingers were red and flattened some. I immediately grabbed for my
PanAway that I keep in my purse and applied it neet all over both sides of his fingers and prayed. He
settled down a lot and ten minutes later asked for more oil on it. I applied the same amount again and
within a minute or so he said, "Okay, it's all better now" and then he went on to play as if NOTHING
happened! He is so well trained in the use of the oils that whenever he isn't feeling well he always
says, "Mom, can you get me some oils?" We are so grateful to God for these oils. This is just one of
the myriad stories we have for our family with 8 children. Love, Ann K
