Responsibilities:
Implementation of the turnkey contracts including design, Supply, Installa-
tion, Testing and commissioning. Prepared commissioning procedure and
was involved in general engineering, Design, Site supervision, and other

Performed testing and commissioning of 132/ 11 kV, 220/ 33/ 11 kV and 400 kV S/S with
primary sites in Iraq.
Responsibilities:
Tested, Commissioned and energised more than 10 S/S.

1977 - 1988 Head of Maintenance Department of Power Plant
As Head of Maintenance Department of Power Plant with seven units (4 x 32 MW,
2 x 110 MW and 1 x 230 MW) I was in full charge to plan and organise complete service and
regularly annual maintenance of electrical equipment of all seven generating units. Depart-
ment head more than 280 high educated and well trained professionals.
Responsibilities:
Team Leader for Commissioning of Power Plant
As Team Leader reviewed and prepared procedure for site commissioning
tests of Power Plants equipment, Witnessed site commissioning tests by
other supplier/ manufactures/ contractors involved in project and carried
many site commissioning tests by my power plant team.
As Project Engineer
1. Prepared Technical Specification for electrical equipment for power
plant 1 x 230 MW. Coordinated/ incorporated as necessary all the
comments of the concern departments in the draft/ finalisation of the
Project Technical Specification.
2. Reviewed/ evaluated the bid proposal package prior to the awarding
of contract.
3. Interface design coordination of the electrical equipment/ works with
mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation and other related disciplines.
4. Reviewed all design submittals of the Contractor such as drawings and
equipment technical data prior to the installation.
5. Reviewed and checked the specification of the proposed equipment,
Material and installation to ensure it is being done according to de-
fined in the Project Technical Specification.
