following
passage.
Tarantulas give some people the creeps because of their large, hairy
bodies and [egs. Most are black or brown. Some have been known to live for
30 years. Did you know that the largest tarantulas are longer than a ruler? They
have a tiny claw on the end of each of their eight hairy legs. These help them
to climb.
There are hundreds of tarantula species found in most of the world's
tropical, subtropical and arid regions. They vary in colour and behaviour
according to their specific environments. Some live in burrows under the
ground. Others live on the ground under rocks, bark or logs. Some even live in
trees.
Tarantulas are slow and deliberate movers mostly seen after sunset, but
accomplished nocturnal predators. Insects are their main prey, but larger
tarantulas also eat frogs, snakes, mice and small birds. The South American
bird-eating spider, as its name suggests, is even able to prey upon small birds.
Most tarantulas hunt for food; they do not wait in their web to catch
their prey. They run after them and catch them! Then they bite and crush them
with their strong
jaws.
After eating a large meal, the tarantula may not need to
kill again for a month.
Most people fear taranfulas but these spiders are harmless to humans;
except for a painful bite. A tarantula's bite is like a bee or wasp sting to a
human being, It is good to know that if one is bitten by a tarantula; he or she
would not die!

Are you afraid to take off your shoes in public places? Smelly feet can be a
great source of ernbarrassment. You can reduce your foot odour anxieties by trying
these tips.
The growth of bacteria is responsible for the bad smell on our feet. To get rid of
the smell, sprinkle baking soda inside each sock and on the insole of the shoe. If baking
soda is not available, try baby powder instead. Another way is to soak your feet in
water that contains baking soda mixed with vinegar. Vinegar is a natural anti-fungal
remedy for smelly feet.
Sage is a herb that has anti-bacterial properties. So, drink a cup of sage tea
before going to bed. Meanwhile, foot odour can also simply be the cause of a
deficiency. Thus, doctors recommend taking azinc supplement.
Put on cotton or natural fibre materials which absorb sweat. This is because
wearing nylon socks can cause your feet to sweat easily. It is advisable that you change
your shoes frequently to give your shoe a 24-hour breather to remove built-up moisture
and smell.
Practising good foot hygiene helps to treat this problem. So, say goodbye to
smelly feet!
