I will guide thee with Mine eye

In the grave of years gone by,
Let this promise still be cherished,
I will guide thee with Mine eye
4. When the shades of life are falling,
And the hour has come to die,
Hear the trusty Leader calling,
I will guide thee with mine eye

12. BIBLE READING: 1 THESS 4: 13-18
Verse 13. But I would not have you to be ignorant,
brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, that ye
sorrow not even as others who have no hope
Verse 14. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so God will bring with him those who sleep with
Jesus
Verse 15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord,
that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the
Lord will by no means prevent them who are asleep.
Verse 16. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the
trumpet of God and the dead in Christ will rise first.
Verse 17. Then we who are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the
Lord in the air and thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Verse 18. Therefore comfort one another with these
words.

HYMN AT THE GRAVESIDE SS&S NO. 1028
( ON THE RESURRESTION MORNING)
1. On the resurrection morning,
Soul and body meet again;
No more sorrow, no more weeping,
No more pain.
2. Here a while they must be parted,
And the flesh its Sabbath keep;
Waiting in a holy stillness,
Wrapped in sleep.
3. For a space the tried body
Waits in peace the mornings dawn,
When there breaks the last and brightest
Easter morn.
4. On the happy Easter morning
All the graves their dead restore
Father, sister, child and mother
Meet once more

5. Soul and body reunited;
Thenceforth nothing shall divide;
Waking up in Christs own likeness,
Satisfied
