So far this week we have learned that food first grows at a farm, and then
goes to the grocery store for us to buy. Well once it goes to the grocery store
people buy it for their homes or restaurants.
Who makes food at restaurants? Who works in a restaurant? (show visuals)
In dramatic play area we will have a pizza shop set up where you can order
pizza and then make someone a pizza. Demonstrate.

Apple Science experiment and making predictions

Last week friends we talked about where food comes from, some of the
places you thought of were the lunch room, a farm, pizza ranch, and home.
This week we are going to start talking about food we like. We are going to
visit an apple orchard soon and our job today in small groups is going to taste
different apples and seeing which apple you like the most. We will then come
back to circle to see which apple we like the most.
