CONCEPT PAPER

GS CORE S.Y. 2014-2015

Graduate Students Core Group

I. Background and Rationale

Students, as the biggest stakeholders in the education sector, are entitled to co-determine
and be informed about the processes, goals, and life in the campus. It is imperative to put
the pressing needs of our students and their welfare into high priority. While the recent
conduct of NCPAG Graduate Students General Assembly helped disseminate information
on the NCPAG SCs plans for the college, it is important to look for potential recourses to
promote participation through putting forth efforts to move the NCPAG SC activities closer
to the students. To promote active participation, The Graduate Students Core Group must
be established.

The GS CORE S.Y. 2014-2015 is a collection of student leaders in each graduate class. The
group will help craft and supply information on the upcoming activities and plans for
graduate students. It will also be a venue for sharing of ideas to create more appropriate
projects for the betterment of the college and the whole NCPAG student population.

II. Objectives

The objectives for this project are the following:
1. TO GATHER MINIMUM OF ONE VOLUNTEER/REPRESENTATIVE per graduate class
constituting the GS CORE.
