At Making Waves, we believe that becoming comfortable in the water and learning to
swim is essential for all children. It is our mission to ensure that swimming lessons are
accessible and affordable to those who need them most.
Your child will be paired one-on-one with one of our instructors, who will help them
attain their personal goals, whether it be putting their faces in the water for the first
time or developing their swim strokes. We recognize that everyone learns at their
own pace, and that with a little help anything is possible.
A nine-week session of lessons will run Sunday mornings from 10:30 – 11:00
AM from January 16th to March 13th at a price of $20/child at Centennial pool
(1970 Gottingen Street, Halifax NS). Fees cover administrative costs and

their lives, whether though giving them the opportunity to have fun, showing
them how to cope with the challenges in their lives by learning to de-stress
and relax, or meeting up with one's peers to exchange experiences and make
friends.
