TMPM372/3/4/5 addresses single channel Motor applications
with space restrictions and high temperature requirements
like Heating Pumps. TMPM370 and TMPM376 can drive
two motors via two independent PMD (Programmable Motor
Driver) Channels. Additionally the integrated OP-Amp and
Comparator in TMPM370 reduces the need of external
component.

PRINCIPLE AND ADVANTAGES OF THE INTEGRATED VECTOR ENGINE
The red Software block contains two PI-Controllers for speed control and position estimation. This is the only part in the whole
Motor Control algorythm which requires direct inuence of the Main CPU. Different algorythms for e.g. position estimation can be
applied.
The Vector Engine (VE) -Hardware block - is the calculation unit required for FOC (Field Oriented Control = Vector Control). Each
calculation function is implemented in one individual block called Task.
All tasks will be executed in a specic order dened by schedules. Individual Tasks can be either executed in hardware by the VE or
replaced by software. Total execution time is typ.14s = 9s by the VE input/output + 5s for position detection and speed control.

The PC-Software MotorMind provides a starting point to easily set up specific motors with the Toshiba TMPM37x series. It
offers set up and control of many motor parameters directly from the GUI. Motor and electrical parameters will be transfered
to the evaluation boards and immediately run the motor with the new settings. No need to recompile the firmware. MotorMind
is available for free download. The GUI also supports a DSO (Digital Storage Oscilloscope) function to freeze snapshots of
internal motor parameters and display them in a graphical way enabling certain trigger conditions.

FlashAir is a standard SDHC memory card class 10, which offers you 8GB and 16GB of high quality
memory. But FlashAir is more than a standard memory card. It offers embedded Wireless LAN and creates
its own access point, accessible from other Wireless LAN enabled devices. Industrial or consumer products
which have an SD Card slot can now transmit any kind of data stored on a FlashAirSD card. Log files,
firmware updates, configuration settings, pictures, templates and even more types of data can now be easily
