Subject: Fight for student welfare and student right
Dear Madam,
On behalf of all the students of the country, we would like to bring to your kind notice the constraints faced by
research students in our country. This is all about for student welfare and student rights. We are very glad to
share all my point against reservation and Student facing problem with education system with you. These
points are as below..
1.First ensure education for low income groups then reservation, how many poor lower cast people enjoying
this facility, only people in higher income group enjoy this cast benefit. Above all corruption related to getting
these certificates is there. Monitoring should be there.
2. The poor guy who is not able to do their higher education, they took loans from banks. ut the education
loan interest is ~12.25 % which is much more than the home loan ~8 % and car loan ~% etc. !ow the poor
people can get higher "ualification by this. #ovt. should give rela$ation on interest of education loan. For
giving rela$ation on education loan interest they should provide subsidy. The education loan interest should
be less than ~!% for lower income people.
!. #ovt. should give good facility in govt. school or collage. %o, they should appoint good faculty member in
that due to which student get benefited. &f student get "uality of study in govt. school than no need of going in
private school. "ducation system needs a very hard line reform. #niform schooling system must be
introduced.
$. #ovt. increases the fees of govt. collage like '&T and &&T but they haven(t done increment in fellowship of
).Tech and *h+ student. %tipend for research student in &ndia is very low compared to many other countries
that are at the forefront in science and technology. %s a result of which many bright students who& though
wish to stay in country& find it reasonable to migrate to other countries with better opportunity in terms
of research atmosphere and remuneration. #ovt. should ensure that students in research are paid respectably
and regularly, as it is their hard work which contributes most to the research output of the country. %o, due to
this lots of merit student not coming for doing higher degree or for doing research instead of this they runaway
towards industry. We would like to take cogni,ance of the matter and re"uest you to increase the research
fellowship by at least '5% of e(isting amount.
5. All govt. give some preference or special vacancy on the basis of cast. )here are lots of general caste
people who are much poor than higher income lower cast people. ut they are not getting any type of
reservation and also there are lots of people who can(t afford money for study in good school. %o, for those
people govt. should help by giving financial support for taking higher education. This is totally our opinion that
reservation should be there but not on the cast basis it should be on the financial basis. *ast ya eco
situation can+t ,udge your capability. )erit student face lots of problem due to cast reservation.
#ovt. should support those people who are financial week. *lease help us regarding this matter.
