EDM wire cutting method was first published in 1955 from the Soviet Union in 1957, the Soviet Union
developed the first A207-type photoelectric tracking WEDM, 1965, the Soviet Union developed a digital control
WEDM NC-WEDM, 1969 Switzerland The successful development of CNC WEDM, the Japanese launched in 1972
