KO Drum load parameters Units Minimum Normal Maximum
Inlet Device Efficiency % 0% 0% 0%
Gravitational efficiency % 97.23% 92.63% 93.27%
Demisting Efficiency % 99.99% 99.94% 99.90%
Predicted Liquid Carry over USgal/MMscf <0.01 <0.01 <0.01
The separation performance of the inlet device is set to 0%, due to the low liquid loading,
and should be considered conservative
The efficiency models for ConSepT DC80, demisting cylones, is based on high pressure
test date using real hydrocarbon as well as model fluids at high pressure. The
performance is verified by a third party.
The ConSepT DC80 is well proven and has been used in several retrofit jobs with 100%
success rate.
The ConSepT IVD use profiled vanes, which gives gentle retardation and avoids
unstable flow conditions. This will enhance the gravitational separation performance. The
profiled vanes consists of two plates which give improved mechanical strength to
withstand liquid slugs.
