This Shanti Mantra is taken from the krishna Yajurveda Taittiriya
Upanishad (2.2.2) . It is usually recited in schools as prayer before
the start of the classes in schools

O professor que tanto gostei j tinha acabado de
entoar o mantra OM e na seqncia comeou a fazer
um outro mantra que eu desconhecia
completamente. Eu me sentei pelo cho mesmo e ns
repetimos o novo mantra em forma de pergunta e
resposta. Este o mantra:


Om Sahana Vavatu
Saha Nau Bhunaktu
Saha Viryam Kara Va Vahai
Tejasvina Vadhi Tamastu
Ma Vidvisha Vahai
Om, Shanti, Shanti, Shantih.


Tentando no incomodar fiquei parada, esttica, at
ele terminar de explicar o significado do mantra que
diz:


Que estejamos protegidos e unidos.
Que estejamos nutridos e unidos.
Que possamos trabalhar juntos pelo bem comum.
Que nunca haja inimizade entre ns.

Que mantra interessante este. Adorei a explicao do
significado que o meu professor deu. Depois, ele me
disse um oi discreto e falou para que eu pegasse um
tapetinho e me acomodasse para a prtica. Que
gentil!

Notei que na minha segunda aula de Yoga havia
algumas pessoas que no tinha visto na aula anterior.
Uma mulher, que logo no fui com a cara, ocupava a
vaga minha frente e vestia uma camiseta azul
piscina com o dizer Beatles 4ever, parecia querer
me imitar nas posturas que eu fazia. Que coisa! Ouvi
dizer que se chamava Simone, porque, meu professor
ao ajust-la num sanadisse o seu nome.
