PERSONAL STRENGTHS
From the above posts I have found I have the right attitude, dedication and perseverance
to sustain and enjoy the inevitable pressure of a career in surgery. I am confident in
presenting my ideas within a group. I possess a holistic approach to medicine and
appreciate that a patient’s social and psychological state can significantly contribute to
their recovery.

Much of my recent experience has been working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and
I feel confident of my role be it as leader of the team or supporting the decisions of other
members. Throughout my training I have maintained excellent relationships with all
members of the team and contributed to a harmonious working environment in all the
units in which I have worked. I have also improved my personal assertiveness, time
management and leadership skills through personal practice in my recent postings.

I have achieved the ability to adapt easily to different medical teams over the course of
my medical training. I have also prided myself on making a quick and substantial
contribution to each of the units in which I have worked.

I further believe I have matured as a doctor during the course of my training which has
equipped me the ability to take full responsibility as and when necessary, but I also know
when to call on more senior assistance when appropriate. I have always been a self
starter. However, my capacity to determine priorities, organize my time to maximum
effect and take responsibility has been consolidated in recent years both on the wards and
studying appropriate examinations.

INTEREST
Community Involved in several medical missions for flood victims and
