#LHSBringItOn
Launched during Glasgow 2014, this twitter campaign encouraged pupils and
staff to share their experiences at the games and attracted nearly 100
responses. From pictures of Eilidh Child, Usain Bolt and our energetic LHS
Clyde-siders, the hashtag now stands as a great way for our
pupils to celebrate all that they are involved with.

School News
Another successful trip to Ochilview this time for the S2 football team playing in the league
cup final. The match was a very tightly fought encounter finishing 1-1 after full time with
Larbert's goal coming courtesy of Alistair Mckenzie. The game had to be decided by a
penalty shoot out which made the finish very nerve wracking for the 200 Larbert High pupils
in attendance to support their friends. The penalty shoot out entered into sudden death and
the penalty to win the match was taken by Ryan Wilson who coolly stepped up to the and
slotted it home to ignite the celebrations! He was quickly met by the rest of his team mates
who rushed from the half way line to celebrate with him! Well done to the whole team and
Jamie Swinney and Mr Hamilton.
S1/2 7 a-side
A team of s1 and s2 boys strolled to victory at the annual Active
Schools Football Tournament allowing team captain Robbie
Sinclair the job of lifting the trophy at Ochilview. The boys were
undefeated during the whole tournament and didn't concede a
goal thanks to a great defensive performance and also
goalkeeper Owen Erskine. As
well as keeping a clean sheet
in the tournament the team
scored 25 goals! Well done to
the team of Owen Erskine,
James MacAdam, Jake
Coxall, Robbie Sinclair, Fraser
Wittman, Keir Stevenson,
Robbie Fotheringham, Conor
Gamble and Jack Donaldson.

shot putt, javelin and in the s3/4 girls relay and a bronze medal in
