JOB ANNOUNCEMENT:
Court Specialist

The Fourth Judicial Circuit Juvenile Office; serving Atchison,

Gentry, Holt, Nodaway and Worth Counties; has an opening for a
Court Specialist I working in the Juvenile Office in Maryville, MO.
The position includes receptionist duties, general secretarial work,
office equipment operation and maintenance, supply purchasing and
payment, word processing and spreadsheet management. This person
will assist with the monthly and yearly budget process. Applicants
must have the ability to understand and follow oral and written
instructions from all of the Juvenile Officers while maintaining a
working relationship with outside agencies. Required is a high
degree of attention to detail, managing multiple tasks and people
simultaneously, and working within scheduled deadlines. Knowledge
of juvenile court procedures, documents and terminology is helpful
but not mandatory and can be acquired on the job.
Qualification: Graduation from high school and two years of
general clerical experience.
Starting annual salary: $27,828. Full benefits package with
the State of Missouri. 40 hour work-week, Monday through Friday.
