Aslongasyoudontregisteranyexistingorcreateanewdatapool,the
LIFTdatamanagerapplicationwillnotwork.Youarefreetoregister/createas
manydatapoolsinanylocationyoulike.
2.2 LIFTdesigner5DataPools
OneofthemainnewLIFTdesigner5featuresistheseparationoftheprogramdata
fromthemainprogram.Inthiscontext,theprogramdataisseparatedinsocalled
DataPools.Thedatapoolslocationcanbedifferentfromthelocationofthe
LIFTdesigner5/LIFTdatamanagerinstallationdirectory.
ThedatapoolsprovidethedatathatisnecessarytorunthenewLIFTdesigner5/
LIFTdatamanagerapplications.Themainideaofthisconceptistobeabletorun
theLIFTdesigner5/LIFTdatamanagerprogramwithdifferent,registereddata
poolsthatmaycontaindifferentdata:
