Heat Recovery Steam Generator ( Optional )
Steam Turbine ( Optional )
Electric Generators ( Optional )
Feed Water, Tank , Cooling Water (CW) Pump & Control and Electrical System.

3. LNG Plant Maintenance and Reliability program, life extension study, methodologies / approaches,
commercial & technical benefits and implications for safety & environmental impact will be
identified and highlighted.

Day 1
Scope of Training on GE Frame 5 , 6, 7 GTs , Compressors & Associated Equipment

1. Basic of Operation and Maintenance on Machines / Philosophy
2. Carrying out life Assessment and life extension study of Frame GT Machines
3. Identification of areas of deterioration and obsolescence likely to affect operation.
4. Determination of the actions needed to maintain ongoing plant integrity
5. Estimating the investment costs required to implement the above actions.
6. Identification of impact of the actions on equipment effectiveness & sustainability of operation
reliability.
7. Detailed Discussions on A, B Checks and C Major Overhauls or Applicable Checks .
8. Rotor Life Assessment and recommendations.
9. Work-Scope optimization for Hot sections .
10. Review and design configuration on Frame Machines .
11. LTSA Review and Cost Implications

Day 2
Existing Condition Detailed Review Methodology Discussions.

Identification equipment for following.

1. Limit of component performance (e.g. design limit)
2. Implication of failures to date (if any)
3. Implication of the operation and maintenance strategy (e.g. at current, and if already planned, future
program level)
4. How to Select the representative LNG train for the life extension study.
5. Review plant objectives (commercially, technically & from safety and environmental point of view)
6. Review of short, medium and long term issues in relation to plant operation and maintenance.
7. Review materials properties and strength values of different materials that may be of interest to the
LNG Plant condition. This involves reviewing various codes and standards and latest
recommendations by these.
8. Comparing the cost benefit and performance, in the medium to long term, of replacement by
components made from various materials.
9. Estimating the necessary investment to extend the operational integrity of the plant from current
2014 level to 20xx years taking into account the necessary equipment replacement.
10. Comparing various replacement strategies in terms of plant reliability and life extension from others
similar plants.
11. Producing a master plan on a milestone schedule for phased implementation for all recommended
repairs and replacement/ refurbishment works.
12. Generating recommendations concerning possible remedial actions and optimization of life
consumption (probabilistic approach) that would extend the plant life by 15 years or more at the end
of existing LNG Purchase Agreement.

Review strategies discussions for design and configuration for LNG plant & equipment.
