JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITY

1. Receiving Patient in Step Down ICU.
2. Quick assessment, Identification of Nursing problem, Devising care, setting
appropriated baseline observation and implementing using intervention.
3. Implementation of Nursing care.
4. Evaluation of Nursing Care Implemented and making changes as required.
5. Constant and vigilant observation recording and reporting problems that need
immediate attention.
6. History collection, Physical examination, collection of specimen, and assisting
patient while undergoing necessary investigation.
7. Effective communication with colleges, effective written communication with
understanding of patient.
8. Performing Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Use of emergency drugs and
assisting with endotracheal intubations.
9. Administering oxygen nebuliser and medicines (Oral, Tropical and rectal)
