| I. Introduction |

This is my Stahn SSkills Obtaining FAQ. It covers how you get every Skill
and Magic in Tales of Destiny, also, other information on Skill/Magic. Stahn
special Skills are quite different on how to get, so I thought that a FAQ
coving it would be a good idea, since people might seek out every speaical
skills Stahn can get, quite like I did.

Name: Stan Aileron
Age: 19
Swordian: Dymlos
Bio: Stahn is a country boy, that doesn't know much about the world. He seeks
for Fame as a master swordsman, but doesn't get far. He meets a Sword aboard
a ship that he wasn't suppose to be on, and then finding his Destiny. Stahn
is not as air headed as you may think, he is a caring person who hates
injustice.

Spell Name: Fireball
TP Cost: 5
Obtain Level: Reach Level 1
Attack Element: Fire
Info: Well, its noting great but its what you got, and if you are fighting
a Ice monster of something it isn't all that bad, but I don't think I ever
really used it more then two times.
Spell Name: Eruption
TP Cost: 16
Obtain Level: Reach Level 8
Attack Element: Fire
Info: Not bad, pretty good if you ask me. Can stop your enemys for some time
so you can make your move and either attack them or run away. The range is
on the floor and doesn't move so if you miss your target well, there isn't
much you can do.
Spell Name: Fire Wall
TP Cost: 23
Obtain Level: Reach Level 12
Attack Element: Fire
Info: Umm, ok. Its strong but not much after that, sure its a wall that can
protect you but it looses it whole protect thing since its only up there for
such a small admount of time.
Spell Name: Fire Storm
TP Cost: 30
Obtain Level: Reach Level 18
Attack Element: Fire
Info: Now here is some better magic, Fire Storm actually hits the enemy more
then once. Its like a Storm of fire really, I choose this one of all the other
magic spells I had at the time.

Spell Name: Fear Flare

TP Cost: 60
Obtain Level: Reach Level 25
Attack Element: Fire
Info: A huge jump of attack power since Fire storm. The TP cost jumped a ton
also, but with my TP cost the more attack power. Also you can hit more then
one enemy at a time.
Spell Name: Flare Tornado
TP Cost: 50
Obtain Level: Reach Level 32
Attack Element: Fire
Info: Nice the stronger version of Fear Flare in a way, just with less TP
cost, also the range isn't as good, but a spell that can prove uselfull unlike
many others.
Spell Name: Explode
TP Cost: 60
Obtain Level: Reach Level 40
Attack Element: Fire
Info: The best Magic Spell Stahn can get without a Disk. It has great attack
power and range. Proven usefull just about all the time and is well rounded.

Skill Name: Missile Sword
TP Cost: 2
Obtain Level: 2
Attack Element: Physical
Attack Type: Ground
Info: Heh, its the classic Missile Sword of "Demon God Wave" in Japanese.
Its the first skill you get and not a bad one. Use it when you don't want
to get close to your enemy. Also, you don't want to try this skill against
a flying enemy for you will not hit them.
Skill Name: Kick Attack
TP Cost: 5
Obtain Level: 3
Attack Element: Physical
Attack Type: Close
Info: Your first combo skill, that goes up to three hits. Two by kicking your
enemey with a little jump the trusting your enemey for the most power hit
in the combo. Also, your fist up close attack skill. Its a good skill over
all.
Skill Name: Spin Slash
TP Cost: 6
Obtain Level: 9
Attack Element: Physical
Attack Type: Air
Info: Its cool, you can cover some ground with this move. Stahn leaps in the

air and flips three times with his sword sticking out to hit his enemeys.
The attack power is ok, noting great.
Skill Name: Tiger Blade
TP Cost: 8
Obtain Level: 13
Attack Element: Physical
Attack Type: Close
Info: A two hit combo with great attack power. Your first really powerfull
move. This isn't as good as Leons but, its still ok. Just make sure you get
close to your enemy and hit them both times to get the best out of the attack.
Skill Name: Vortex
TP Cost: 10
Level Obtiain: 18
Attack Element: Physical
Attack Type: Air
Info: Great range. The attack power is low but you hit them a number of times
depending where you use the skill. Great for flying enemys because sometimes
its hard to hit them. Also, the vortex can pick up enemys so they keep getting
hit by the vortex.
Skill Name: Force
TP Cost: 16
Level Obtain: 24
Attack Element: Physical
Attack Type: Wide
Info: A move for the sol reason to get enemys out of your way. A large blue
dragon shoots out and blows the enemy way back into the end of the screen,
leaving them open for you to attack.
Skill Name: Dragon Blade
TP Cost: 10
Level Obtain: 34
Attack Element: Physical
Attack Type: Close
Info: A five hit powerfull combo. One of the better moves in the game. I still
have it equiped out of all the skills. A good move to start with and then
start another skill.
Skill Name: Light Spear
TP Cost: 20
Level Obtain: 40
Attack Element: Holy
Attack Type: Close
Info: Your last skill you get that isn't Sacred. Also, it has the Holy element
which is a plus since its so rare. Stahn trusts his sword and shoots out a
few light beams. Good, good, but I like Dragon Blade more. Also if you are
fightig a Fire monster use this skill! Its very important since you might
not be able to hurt the monster with any other of your attakcs.

You must have Dymlos equiped in order to use these Sarcred Skills.
Spin Flare
TP: 8
Attack Element: Fire
Attack Type: Air
Location: Natural Cave Required
Required Abilities: Fireball and Spin Slash
Info: You can get this pretty early, but you have to go out of your way to
get it. Its ok, noting great for a Sacred Skill. All Stahn does it does a
back flip into the air and come crashing down with power. Not bad, good for
counterattacking.
Throw Sword
TP: 10
Attack Element: Fire
Attack Type: Projectile
Location: Armeida Cless and Arche are in the town up north, must answser 50
questions.
Required Abilities: None
Info: Annoying to get but a cool move. It has its downside, when you throw
the sword it sticks into the ground and you won't have your sword until you
go where you threw it and pick it up. So, you'll be fighting hand to hand
if you don't go and get it. Stahn just jumps and little and throws his sword
down on to the ground, not too far.
Dragon Toss
TP: 10
Attack Element: Fire
Attack Type: Air
Location: Lienea
Required Abilities: Fire Storm and Kick Attack
Info: Also, once again the other not super good Sarced Skill. Its cool, and
has a few combos, but is missing attack power since all of the attacks are
done with Stahns feet.
Flame Vortex
TP: 30
Attack Element: Fire
Attack Type: Air
Location: Swordian R&D Lab
Required Abilities: Explode and Vortex
Info: Awesome, this move rocks. Stahn blows up the screen with a amazing flame
vortex and comes crashing down exploding. Awesome for ground and flying
mosters, but it better off with flying monsters. The TP cost is high but the
attack power pays off for the lost.
Fiery Wave
TP: 12
Attack Element: Fire
Attack Type: Wide
Location: Heidelberg Catacombs
Required Abilities: Fire Wall and Missile Sword
Info: Sweet. Its well round attack, Stahn whips his sword and a huge flame
wave comes out hitting the enemy a bunch of times. The TP cost is good for

the attack power. I think this move is good for sometime in the game.
Hellfire
TP: 25
Attack Element: Fire
Attack Type: Wide
Location: Cloudius
Required Abilities: Fire Storm and Force
Info: Wow, it looks awesome. As, what it does is cool. It pushes the enemys
away and Stahn stabs the ground to realses raining lava upound the enemys.
Its cool and you can find it usefull all around.
Assassin
TP: 45
Attack Type: Fire
Location: Seinegald Castle Courtyard
Required Abilities: Dragon Blade, Fiery Wave, Hellfire and Flame Vortex
Info: "The coolest ubber awesome move ever!!!" Indeed it is. Heh, 37 - 30+
hit combo is amazing. To start things off, the screen freezes, and Stahn
throws his shield into the air. Then Stahn starts slashing, trusting,
kicking, punching, the enemy a ton of times and knocks them into the air,
then releases a giant wave of fire. Awesome always have this skill equiped.

| VII. Cless and Arches' Text for Sacred Skill "Throw Sword" |

In order to get "Sacred Text 2" you must go to Armeida and Anwser Cless and
Arche's Test. The test has 50 questions but don't worry this guide has all
of the answers. Heh, most of the Questions are about other Namco games relased
in North America. Also, you only have four seconds to answer the question
so you can't take your time.

Q: Why don't I have all those Sacred Skills? I'm at the rigth level.
A: Well, you don't actually get it by levels, you have to go find the stone
in the Location were it is and answer two questions to get a Sacred Text.
Q: I can't get my sword after I use Throw Sword!
A: Well, you can get it, its just that you might be using "Semi-Auto" try
using "Manual".
Q: How do I get "Manual"? And what is it?
A: By getting Tech ring. It allows you to have full control of Stahn, so you
don't have to run back after a attack.
Q: Who is Cless and Arche?
A: They are characters from Tales of Plantasia. Which is a Tales of.. game
but was never released in North America.
Q: I can't get to most of these locations!
A: You might not be able, you have to wait until you get the air ship so you
can fly around to the area you want to get to.
Q: Why do you like Stahn so much?
A: Because he is ubber Awesome!
