ABSTRAC
The research documents the making of a preschool teacher to develop actions for teaching
numbers within the educational field of math in the third grade level. The teaching of
numbers represents a field of interest to educators as they face the need to design strategies
that are challenging in a subject considered "difficult."
The subjects participating in research are educators, multigrade groups, working in unity
schools, which have to address strategies for teaching numbers as due to educativa2011
reform, changes arise towards the development of skills in the subjects, so it was interesting
to learn about the resources they use to do with students in a rural context.
Among the findings, the most important is that educators who design strategies, are given
according to didactic situations that stem from everyday activities such as the roll call,
training to enter classrooms and using numbered cards as part of a process "culture to
manage the numbers" approach in allowing its levels and more complex situations.
