Bio-Rad’s Curriculum and Training Specialists have

Forensic Science (1–2 days)
Genetic diversity enables the creation of individual DNA
fingerprints. In this course you will create DNA profiles
using two techniques – restriction digestion and
polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and use the data to
analyze crime scene evidence. Learn how these two
years of experience using Biotechnology Explorer kits techniques are complimentary and how they each tell
in their own teaching labs and have trained educators you something different.
from elementary to college levels. The following courses L a b s k i ll s :

offer a variety of choices of applications for integrating - use of micropipets

- restriction enzyme digestion
biotechnology into the classroom. Our courses can be - polymerase chain reaction
customized to meet the schedule, needs and curricula - agarose gel casting and electrophoresis
of your institution(s).
