Procedure
ACTIVITY I Warmer The Lying Game (Group work)
Aim: - to warm Ss up;
Time: 5 min.
Procedure: The T. divides the class in two groups. She writes 10 statements about
herself on the blackboard. Some of them are true and some are false. In groups Ss
have to guess which statements are true and which are false. Each correct guess is
given a point. The group who has the most points wins.
Statements: My name is Camelia Ciurdas.
I am 37 years old.
I live in Somcuta Mare.
I cant drive a car.
My sons name is Luca.
I dont like fish.
My favourite colour is brown.
I have a red car.
I lived in Portugal for a while.
I love vegetables.
Interaction: Ss-Ss; Ss- T
ACTIVITY II - Reinforcing and checking the previous knowledge (Pair work)
Aim: - to practice asking what they like , love, dont like or hate doing
Time: 10 min.
Procedure: The T. asks Ss. to get in pairs. She gives each pair Worksheet 1 and
asks them to ask each other what they like, love, dont like and hate doing. After
they fill in the table they must write the sentences in their notebooks and report to
the classroom.

ACTIVITY III Revision (Group work)
Aim: - to revise talking about daily routines
Time: 20 min.
Procedure: The class is divided in 2 groups. The T. gives each group worksheet 2
and they have a few minutes to complete the exercise. Then the T. asks group A to
ask misleading questions about Simon. Group B answers the questions. When
mistakes are made groups lose points.
Group A. S1: Does Simon watch TV at 5 oclock?
Group B. S1: No, he doesnt. He reads a book.
Group A. S2: Does Simon stop work at 1 oclock?
Group B. S2: No, he doesnt. He stops work at 2 oclock.
Group A. S3: Does Simon goes to bed at 10 oclock?
Group B. S3: Woops! Not goes. Does Simon go to bed at 10 oclock?
Group A loses a point. Group B is the winner. The students play the game again but
this time Group B asks the questions and Group A answers them.

ACTIVITY IV Make questions (group work)
Aim: to practice asking questions about activities in the present
Time: 10 min.
Procedure: The T. divides the class in 3 groups and gives them worksheet 3
containing a letter to a friend. They have their friends response and they must write
the questions they asked her. They read the letter and decide what questions to ask
and write them. One member of each team reads the questions aloud.
Interaction: Ss T; T-Ss
ACTIVITY V - Evaluation and homework assignment
Aim: -to evaluate the Ss. work
- to assign Ss. their homework.
Time: 5 min
Procedure: The T grades some students.
As homework Ss are asked to write a typical day in their lives in a letter to
a friend.
