Precautions for BTS Swapping

Replacing a BSC of a version with a BSC6900 involves the switching of the hardware
platform, and does not support the common software upgrade mode. Instead, you need to
create a BSC6900, and then swap the BTS data of the BSC to the BSC6900 for realizing the
inheritance of BTS networking data.
Swapping BTS data from a BSC of an earlier version to a BSC6900 falls into the following
scenarios:

From a BSC32 to a BSC6900: In this scenario, upgrade the BSC32 to BSC6000

V900R008 according to section 3.1"Upgrading BSC32 Data Configuration to BSC6000"
and then to BSC6900 according to section 3.3.1"Upgrading BSC6000 V900R008 Data
Configuration to BSC6900 Through the PC OMU", and perform relevant operations
according to section 4.1"Making a Swapping Script on the CME" and section
4.2"Running the Swapping Script."

From a BSC6000 V900R001 or BSC6000 V900R003 to a BSC6900: In this scenario,

upgrade the BSC6000 V900R001 or BSC6000 V900R003 to BSC6000 V900R008
according to section 3.2"Upgrading BSC6000 V900R001 or BSC6000 V900R003 Data
Configuration to BSC6000 V900R008" and then to BSC6900 according to section
3.3.1"Upgrading BSC6000 V900R008 Data Configuration to BSC6900 Through the PC
OMU", and perform relevant operations according to section 4.1"Making a Swapping
Script on the CME" and section 4.2"Running the Swapping Script."

From a BSC6000 V900R008 to a BSC6900: In this scenario, upgrade the BSC6000

V900R008 to BSC6900 according to section 3.3.1"Upgrading BSC6000 V900R008 Data
Configuration to BSC6900 Through the PC OMU", and perform relevant operations
according to section 4.1"Making a Swapping Script on the CME" and section
4.2"Running the Swapping Script."
