Slovenia has great creative potential

Numerous participants in the ninth edition of
Slovenian Innovation Forum showe d a great deal
of creativity with regard to the presented challenges.
The focus of this years main national event on the
subject of innovation and entrepreneurship was on the
value of innovation, which can greatly affect the
situation in the market in the target segment. The
Spirit agency, which organised the forum, believes
that if we all follow this goal, we will be able to boast
numerous breakthrough innovations in the future.
The Ministry of Economic Development and
Technology is convinced that Slovenia has a lot of
creative potential, which we have to learn to use
appropriately, and take advantage of our knowledge in order to promote development and achieve
success. The government will seek to support innovators and businesses. According to the Director
of the Directorate for Entrepreneurship, Competitiveness and Technology, Sabina Kolea, this is
why, when drawing up the new financial perspective, our goal was to increase the share of innovative
companies, which requires a combination of different measures. Through planned instruments, we
seek to develop a comprehensive and focused approach that considers the entire chain needed to
translate research into market products and growth. Only through cooperation between companies
and other institutions, the introduction of new technologies, innovation, development of new products
and their successful marketing will we provide a successful future for companies, institutions and the
entire country. This is what Slovenia needs the most.
