Welcome
Welcome to the tenth weekly maths newsletter. During the week starting 8th December all students in Year 11
will be having a formal mock exam. This will give each student a clear indication of what grade they are
currently working at. Doing a bit of extra focused revision now will pay off. Consider buying the workbook
of past papers questions that the school shop is currently selling at half price! See below.

Homework
Completing work outside of the classroom is vital to attaining the best grade possible in the GCSE
exams. Students may come to see any maths teacher any day after school to get help.
Homework was set to all students on Wednesday 19th November and is due in on Monday
24th November. If the homework has been lost then it can printed out from clicking on the

The school shop is now selling Practice Paper revision books for 2.50 each. The normal retail
price is 4.50.
These books are full of graded exam questions, and answers, for you to try. This would be an
excellent way to do some focused preparation for the December mock exam.
