The Fling program is designed for experienced* English country dancers,

and dances will be minimally reviewed and prompted.

* Am I experienced?Experienced

means that you are already familiar with the

standard figures of English country dancing and, without being taught, can skillfully execute
such movements as: cast and lead, gating, single and double figures of eight, standard and
draw poussettes, and circular and mirror heys. You know how to be on time for each move,
can assist your partner and neighbor, and can recover quickly from a mistake while
having fun!

The Fling is for adults and mature dancing children only, and child care space is not available.
