Flesh against the Spirit

"For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh;
and these things are opposed to one another that ye should not do the things which
ye desire." Galatians 5: 17

The sin/old-self wars against the Spirit within the one body.

A usual attack of the flesh/sin/old man is to claim an emotional or intellectual

credit for the works left behind as a result of the Spirit of God moving in the
new creation that is truly you. The fact of feelings being felt at all is taken
advantage of by the old self/old man/flesh/sin within to indulge in a seeming
proof of legitimacy of being, intimating that anything felt proves existence of
something by which those things were felt--and that that thing which exist/s/-ed
is the 'I', the fundamental self from before the new birth but newly experienced
and a new center of thought as a result of the new birth. But that is a deceit.

For there are two natures in the one flesh that are inimical to the other
if indeed there is a new creation in Christ: the Spirit and the old man/sin within
inhabiting the one flesh. There are not three natures. It is not true and is a
heresy resulting from the free will lie/poison that the Spirit is one nature, the
sin is another and a third decides between the two in different instances of time
as the fundamental self. This scenario is floated by those who speak of free will
in a direct grab at being independent, at some part of themselves untainted by sin
that has any power of life at all and this does not exist and as trying to seduce
the new creature ( that it really can't be sure exists ) into resentment for being
the house of and one with the Spirit of God. The only true self in existence for
us is our life hidden in Jesus Christ. Our identity, our true being is literally
in every way with/in Him. We cannot know the totality of our true identity because
we are like Him. (“But no man has seen God at any time.” I John 4: 12) That is, we
cannot say what we are but only admit that we are and a witness of Him-in-us and
that we are no longer flesh or of the flesh because He has told us that. Therefore
we wait to see Him as He is in love and longing to know who/what He is/we are
in/with Him.

This is also proven by perception. We do not perceive what we are one with.
New truth/life and an acquisition/ building up the new creation in spirit and life
(“The words I have spoken unto you, they are spirit and life.” John 6: 63) must
come from outside that new creation else no event, no building up has occurred.
Yet simultaneous with that hearing-of-life-and-spirit is a building up and a
becoming one with that spirit and life. The instants of this hearing/building
constitute the witness of that new creation that is us being. Simultaneous with
all this is the witness/honesty/being that we are not the source of what-is-
heard/spirit-and-life and are not God and have the honesty/witness to so say which
could only have come through the building-up/hearing instances in-a-row. Therefore
we are an all-at-once-that goes/is constrained in-a-row. We are not the
Constrainer or the source of our own being or anything concerned with our being—as
the old self wishes to declare to us. That is to say, we have no ownership of
experience but witness, even as we witness-in-the-instant that we exist and are
not-God but know the true God in oneness as-He-said/says we do/would as sons.

The acquisition of any new certainty of truth must come from outside of 'us', the
self that is built up/witnesses, else it is not said to be a witness or built-up.
Therefore, the ideas, the emotions, the motivation, everything in every way
without exception that is not one with the new creation in Christ, does not result
in a direct/instantaneous building up of the new creation, is not holy and is not
immediately heard/built-up in oneness as from God alone IS the flesh and the sin
that deceived and slew us.

Before the Fall there was a communion with God but that communion was not true
oneness and it is this oneness that God desires and will not be stopped from
accomplishing in us. But in the Fall any 'me' that existed in a state of
independent innocency became one in every sense of the term with sin blatantly
instead of having the former communion with God. In that oneness there is no
independence from the pre-fall self and sin but only permanent perfect unity with
it and therefore death. All of the old self is one with sin and therefore can do
nothing but continually sin. The Ten Commandments having been given us, that is,
the law having been written in our hearts, we know of our deception/death through
the results of having been under the law ( the purpose of the law was to bring to
our attention that sin was there. The instant we heard 'thou shalt not..'
something in us wanted to do what was forbidden. That something was the living
creature that is sin. ) ( ) and have been born again on-the-hearing of the gospel
of Jesus Christ.

Romans 7:7-25 What shall we say then? is the law sin? Far be the thought. But I
had not known sin, unless by law: for I had not had conscience also of lust unless
the law had said, Thou shalt not lust; but sin, getting a point of attack by the
commandment, wrought in me every lust; for without law sin was dead. But *I* was
alive without law once; but the commandment having come, sin revived, but *I*
died. And the commandment, which was for life, was found, as to me, itself to be
unto death: for sin, getting a point of attack by the commandment, deceived me,
and by it slew me . So that the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and
just, and good. Did then that which is good become death to me? Far be the
thought. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death to me by that which is
good; in order that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. For we
know that the law is spiritual: but *I* am fleshly, sold under sin. For that
which I do, I do not own: for not what I will, this I do; but what I hate, this I
practise. But if what I do not will, this I practise, I consent to the law that it
is right. Now then it is no longer *I* that do it, but the sin that dwells in me.
For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, good does not dwell: for to will is
there with me, but to do right I find not. For I do not practise the good that I
will; but the evil I do not will, that I do. But if what *I* do not will, this I
practise, it is no longer *I* that do it, but the sin that dwells in me. I find
then the law upon *me* who will to practise what is right, that with *me* evil is
there. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man: but I see
another law in my members, warring in opposition to the law of my mind, and
bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which exists in my members. O
wretched man that I am ! who shall deliver me out of this body of death? I thank
God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then *I* *myself* with the mind serve God's
law; but with the flesh sin's law.

Knowledge, memory, sensation as retained in the old self/sin/flesh after the new
birth is accomplished and the sin within the old man is in complete unity with
itself and tries to pass the best of these emotions and remembrance of experiences
off as having originated from and in the Spirit in an effort at controlling the
body and speech they both inhabit and offending the Spirit of God within us. It
wants the tabernacle/body back that we now inhabit.

Therefore any thought of self-directed activity, even, if not especially

'for the glory of God and the praise of the eternal excellence of the name of
Jesus Christ" is of Satan. Be no hindrance to others in desperation to act that is
driven only the old man/sin at war with us. God moves in us. That is He moves in
the new creation—the only true ‘I’ and is our only life.
"..for as many are lead by [the] Spirit of God, these are sons of God." Romans 8:

“The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”
Romans 8: 16

What is said to be lead at all but the spirit that is newly created, the life with
Jesus Christ in the Father? The old man/sin within cannot be lead in a new way by
God.

Romans 8:5-10 For they that are according to flesh mind the things of the flesh;
and they that are according to Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind of
the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit life and peace. Because the mind of
the flesh is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God; for
neither indeed can it be: and they that are in flesh cannot please God. But *ye*
are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed God's Spirit dwell in you; but if any
one has not the Spirit of Christ *he* is not of him: but if Christ be in you, the
body is dead on account of sin, but the Spirit life on account of righteousness.
The new birth is a new non-metaphorical birth, not merely a cleansing so thorough
as to be metaphorically or superficially entitled a new birth by the old mind that
is not of Christ.

The sin/old man/flesh objects (and that strenuously) that this makes 'us'
spiritual robots. ( when in reality, none can be a robot and that lack of being a
robot is the very source of the guilt of false religion. None can do the Law of
God and none can do men's traditions perfectly. Those in false religion truly wish
they could be forced to do the Holy Instructions of their particular sect in order
to never feel guilt and falsely think that what Christians claim does for us. )
The sin/old man/fleshly objection is clearly a desperate grab at maintaining the
legitimacy of feeling feelings with the lie of an independent self from God. For
if the old self has nothing to work with: no feelings are indulged in, no past
lies acknowledged as ‘truth’ in the old man as 'truth' is conceived of in the old
nature or given place to, there is in fact nothing with which the old self has any
voice or control in any way of animating or making it seem there exists something
which is animated outside of the sin and the spirit of God which is in us and so
the facade of 'three natures' collapses.

At all cost the sin/flesh/old man must maintain the facade of three natures else
its deception is immediately apparent. It is a house divided against itself in a
strategy of divide and conquer, but it will not succeed against the elect, for God
knows His own and He will uphold His little ones, even us. What does the old
self/sin within lust against and war against but the new creation and the Spirit
of God in us if indeed we are born again?

The use of methods and techniques is indicative of the old self/sin within
our bodies/tabernacles or the sin within others directed toward us. Techniques and
methods are indicative of the reproduction/repetition of identical pieces of
something, even if that something is 'ideology'/spirit. As new creations in Jesus
Christ we are each a witness in his/her own place/way/being that witnesses one
truth and One God in that truth. The use of means by God is in no way a method or
technique for everything He does is unique inclusive of each of us. There is no
generic soul and thus no applicable generic ideology/spirit. To attempt by the use
of technique or method to cookie-cutter ‘Christians’ from among the unbelieving is
not only a functional aberration and impossible but an outright tool of Satan to
be seen as spiritually busy in a self-willed way. Therefore to use such phrases as
“Evangelical method” is in no way identical to true evangelism. True evangelism is
speaking the truth as spirit and life/the gospel and speaking only to that new
creation in others. (“So that we henceforth know no one according to flesh.” II
Corinthians 5:16)

We quite literally ignore the old man within the one-spoken-to. In this it is
impossible that we would give place to persons based on anything such as beauty
over ugliness, poverty over wealth, age over youth or infirmity over health. We
speak/influx the revelation of God to the new creation, to the Christ-within-them.
All else is not only useless but lying and seeming to give validation to the old
man-deception. If they do not hear, that is, there is no influx of the spirit and
life of God, they are not of God. God as Christ Jesus Says to such non-hearers:

“I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill Me, because My word has no
entrance in you.”
John 8: 38

“He that is of God hears the words of God: therefore ye hear [them] not, because
ye are not of God.”
John 8:47

The notion, coming from the free will lie, that the gospel of Jesus Christ
can be spoken in any way as long as something positive is said about Christ,
usually with hyper-superlatives concerning ‘love’ if possible or allegories taken
from the lives of famous persons-who-succeeded (as regards wealth)-in-this-life-
after-they-said-yes-to-Christ, is one which counterfeits the gospel, the truth and
spirit and life of Jesus Christ and makes it out to be a mere word experiment to
gain the proper reaction—from the old man. The more reactions encountered with a
particular word order/method/technique the more the method/technique/word order is
used to ‘gain converts’. At best, the sheep of God are used by this lie as
intellectual/emotional-convert fodder and each speaking of this so-called gospel
is not the influx of truth and spirit and life that must of a necessity hear God
but a clever get-around-the-old mind/heart/self experiences to make something new,
unthought or unfelt formerly yet not able to be desired by the overt evil in the
old man seem truly holy. The whole lie of Satan in the end is that there is only
one speech in total reality and the gospel is then a necessary product of human
speech. He denies the very existence of the Creating Word of God/Jesus Christ and
yet speaks, sometimes, the exact word order and pronunciation of God's Word as if
anyone can simply mimic God as Word and get the same results.

Yet this lie-speak, this spirit of death that cloaks itself as the true
gospel must counterfeit everything, even the notion of defining authenticity. For
it knows nothing of God, nor can it. Every thing it takes from the Holy Scriptures
is predicated on a man/old self/sin defined vocabulary that has twisted the words
of God in such a way as to create the façade of comprehension/cognizance that
seeks to mimic the influx of spirit and life—and set up ownership of the
experience as false life and as proof of ‘free will’.

1.) The fear of God, spoken by the Holy Spirit as being the beginning of
wisdom, is twisted in such a way as to reduce the revelation of the fear of God as
the beginning of wisdom to the phrase ‘fear of God’ which is used as a false
conception concerning personal safety/uncertainty about eternal life issues that
has no place among the truly elect and those who fear God. That is, a false notion
of fear of God is used as a prod to get a reaction to ‘make the choice for Jesus’
--from the old man—and then what? Having ‘chosen Jesus’ the free willers actively
teach no security of soul/eternal life can be had. For they know that when
certainty is granted from above their game is up and their prod is immediately
seen as false. For even in a perfected state of being one with God we will still
‘have’, indeed, be perfected in holy fear of God. That is, being in a perfected
state and far beyond any security issues of soul, our being
perfected/righteousness of Christ existing now and not ‘then’, even ‘then’
(future-now) we will know of the fear of God. Explicitly, the security issues once
having been disposed of, and the doubt removed as to eternal safety of soul, the
fear of God is not over and wisdom is not said to have ended as would be implied
by the Arminians/free willers with their security related ‘fear-of-god’. They use
their own self-manufactured notion of what fear of God is in such a fashion that
any grasping of it or use of it as a technique or method to accomplish certainty
of salvation in Christ has done with it afterwards and they have not just entered
into wisdom, as is understood in the phrase ‘beginning of wisdom’ as spoken by the
Holy Spirit, (Psalm 111:10 The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; a good
understanding have all they that do his precepts : his praise abideth for ever.)
but they pretend in fact such fear is the end of spiritual wisdom for them and
they can get on with the old man’s control over every conception. To hide this
they must, of course, assert that no certainty can be known and hold this over
their victims for an entire lifetime. But even here they lie, as after the body is
dead the new creation in Christ will rise in a perfected state, not stripped of
the fear of God but perfected in it in truth. All this is from the old man/self-
sin within striving to grasp, to attain for itself what is has heard and read from
the Holy Scriptures—but not go through Jesus Christ as the only gate.

2.) The joy of the Lord is thought of by this same self/old man/sin within as
the mere relief of present bad circumstance and the relief of consequence to it’s
own actions. Again, the definition is predicated on what is presently seen and
known by the self as is if it were all-inclusive of the perfected state in an
attempt to create the façade of having grasped perfection/incorruption. Once again
the free will lie has made it seem as if evil were somehow necessary as a backdrop
to a true understanding of ANYTHING concerning the new creation in Jesus Christ.
It hates the truth that it and all its false definitions will be left behind in
physical death and in eternity it will be little remembered and be completely
irrelevant.

3.) The praise of God is reduced to a mere celebration over the fall of
those-who-attack-us else the free will lie has no function for the phrase
‘praise’. But in the perfected state of oneness we witness and will witness and be
true praise and we will yet praise God more and more, not merely until we are
alone with God in heaven inhabited solely by the elect and all sin and evil hardly
ever come to mind as having occurred.

4.) Personal identity is reduced to something necessary to be constructed now

from what is presently seen and known. They of course, forget that we will be in
the likeness of God and that “no one has seen God at any time.” Our true identity
is not of now, but of the kingdom of heaven at that revelation “of our God.” His
revelation is the revelation to us as to the identity given to us by Him in Him,
not something made-up as mimicking the best imaginings about personal freedoms
nonexistent at present and only as desires had and manufactured from within the
ideological environment of an era of men. We are/a witness of God-within-us and
God-within our brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ and are/a witness to the
reality of the wicked and even the not yet born again who know nothing of their
election in Christ or who are deceived election always applies to someone else as
a product of God-not-being-in-them.

5.) Faith and especially belief are used by the old man/sin as synonyms for
‘intellectually/emotionally convinced of’ rather than direct gifts of God to the
new creation as part of the state of being of new creature in Jesus Christ. Thus
the Roman Catholics always seek a miracle ‘to help them believe’ and to ‘keep the
faith’. They speak of losing faith in one moment and regaining it in another, as
if faith and belief were not part-of-being of the new creation but mere mental or
emotional attributes powerful enough to be spoken metaphorically of as being
‘spiritual’. How is it possible to lose one’s being—and then speak of having
regained it? Each is an absurdity that the free willers take with utmost
seriousness in an attempt to legitimize their churcheology/idol worship as if it
were the worship of the true God.

Not merely are all these false notions predicated on evil-as-necessary-to-

recognize/define intellectual/moral good but they are all predicated to self-
replicate the notion of free will as necessary as well in order to use the evil in
that manner. That is, the notion of free will IS evil speaking to itself in an
attempt to captivate the new creation by mimicry of what the evil can in no way
comprehend. “And the Light is shining in the darkness and the darkness is not
comprehending it.” (John 1). Every word, sentence, and thought of such persons who
are not born again are man/creation entrapped/centered. They see no larger purpose
for men having been created than the present animation in this world. They speak
of angels and heaven, demons and hell in the most theoretical of terms thinking to
have escaped it should it exist in reality when actually even now they are
burning. There is no part of them which is incorruptible—even after having heard
the true gospel. Quite literally, the word of God has no entrance into them, no
influx. The power with which they resist the word of God for themselves they think
to be indicative of free will but is in fact the wrath of God and they have missed
the fact that both belief and unbelief are from God and He gives them as a gift of
life or death to whomsoever He will.

Concerning the elect among all Israel, the Holy Spirit, speaking through
Paul says,

“For God hath shut up together all in unbelief, in order that He might shew
mercy to all.”
Romans 11:32

So then, unbelief is from God as well as belief, and what is necessary for
belief and salvation God Himself performs for us that men may fear Him.

“For He will perform [what] is appointed for me; and many such things are
with Him. Therefore am I troubled at His presence; I consider, and I am afraid of
Him.” Job 23:14,15

“Jehovah will perfect what concerneth me..” Psalms 138:8

Instead of this admittance being spoken by the vast majority, methods and
techniques are constructed by the old man within them to make everyone look the
same as generic beings needing a generic ideology to be 'equal', the most
benevolent of them in their own eyes toward what they perceive in any given
instant for best advantage for pride being substituted for the love of God. In
every way, every virtue, every word, every bit of life in the new creation is
mimicked (and this is only a counterfeit of a counterfeit, of a guess..how can
corruptibility know anything of incorruptibility?) in the old as if it were the
new while it inhabits the same body as the authentic new creation and wars against
it.

Any animation by the new creation is the Holy Spirit moving

within and cannot be part of/in- oneness-with the old self.

Without doubt there is neither free will before or after the reality of being born
again.
