END TO END 3D PRINT SERVICES FROM

IKIX
This is the first publication on the variety of End to
End solutions that ikix delivers and we focus on the
Real Estate Industry.

2D DESIGN CONVERTED INTO A 3D MODEL

Our Design Engineers make use of the front & side

elevations, and the plan of the Project provided,
converting it into a 3D Printable file .The CAD format
of the Landscape Plan is given a proper shape by
applying textures and colors.

THE VIRTUAL 3D FILE MADE INTO A TOUCH

AND FEEL 3D MODEL

The converted file is then 3D printed by the 3D printer.

The Printed model

goes

through

various post-

processing procedures, taken care of by our Production

Engineers to get the final 3D printed output.

LANDSCAPING

Our Landscape experts make the lawns, showcase

water bodies like lakes and fix the trees and bushes
which have been handcrafted by them in accordance
with the plan provided by the Architect. Both the
external as well as the internal lighting is completed
before affixing the 3D printed buildings in their proper
place. At the behest of the developer, iKix also provides
remote controlled as well as dynamic lighting. The
model is then shipped to the destination. For an
overseas model, the model is packaged in a box
specially designed by iKix for safe transportation.

Our Design and Landscape experts accompany and

finish the process by installing the model at the site.

when our landscapists and designers went to the site
for installation.

INEWS - RECENT PROJECTS

iKix successfully installed a World Class model for
the new project of CASA Grande The Address at
Karapakkam.
The CASA Grandes latest feather in the cap is The
Address, lavish four bedroom homes spread over
3.57 acres housing 104 units of 4 BHK apartments
and 44 units of 2BHK apartments.
To cut communication time and enable to discuss
the queries of customers and prospects, iKix was
entrusted the work of making the 3D miniature model
of the Project. iKix was happy to accept the mission
with great ardor and accomplished the installation at
the stipulated time.

Marketing, researching the 3D printing Industry for the launch of new and upcoming 3D Printers as CADD
Centre is foraying into Jewels, arts and mechanical CADD. Wed like to share excerpts of the discussion.
Q1. The 3DP market today.
3D Printing market is growing phenomenally and has become easily accessible. We can upload files on the
website and get the parts printed ranging from small components, toys, to any specific part. The concept is
very simple, when one can think something, it can be 3D printed. The market for 3DP is growing from an open
source market to a more specific oriented one.
Q2. 3DP to meet emerging trends.
Today, Multi National Companies, mid-to-bigger players in the industries are fully aware of 3DP and are looking at
using this technology for their end use. Though the market is aware of 3DP, choosing the right printer for the right
application is most important. A large numbers of printers are available in the market ranging from a desktop model
to high end ones. This is where a solution partner like CADD Centre comes into the picture, an organization that
provides technical support as well as guidance in choosing the right kind of printer. If one goes to a trader, he would
just deliver a printer off the shelf, not knowing exactly what a consumer requires. In short, emerging trends are
applications, accuracy, speed, surface finish, thickness of the part, build size, materials and actually putting into use
in real time and the amount of money the customer is ready to invest depends on the need.

Q3. Common misconceptions about 3D Printing.

It is a common misconception that one can buy a professional desktop printer and use it for high end research
work. The expectation should be in line with what a 3D Printer can do. If a consumer wants to learn the basic
concepts of 3DP, adapt to the technology, he should go in for a low-medium end product. After familiarizing,
and to go into the next level, he could go in for a high end printer.
