The building is a 10-floor building. Each floor consists of one or more rooms. Allcomputers in one room
are connected to a switch. All switches are connected to one main switchthat is located in the IT
Department in 5

Floor. That switch is connected to 2 routers and to theinternet.The Server that can access all the networks
in the building is located in the IT departmentin the 5
th
floor. The switch in the IT room is connected to 3 servers. 1 will be the main server, andthe other is the
back up server. Not all host can access the internet. The training room, Examination room and the
twoconference room cannot access the internet. The server is blocking the IP address of the hosts inthose
rooms.There is a biometrics system that would serve as attendance recorder and that wouldautomatically
generate payroll. It is located in the 1

or ground floor in the reception area. The biometric system and the computers in the reception are
connected to the same switch.There is also a lounge room with wifi connection in the 1
st
floor. The range is able to reachall the location in the lounge room. The wireless device is being
connected to the switch in the ITdepartment

floor - There will be a receptionist desk near the entrance. It's for the inquiry need of
the guestthat will visit the building. Biometric system and the lounge room with wifi
connectionis located in this room also. Biometrics2

floor - Training room and examination room is located here. The two rooms have no access tothe
internet. Because there is no need for the computer that is used for exam andtraining to use the
internet.3

floor - Customer assistance is located in this floor. This is where the employee will
assistcustomer and answering their concern about the company.4

floor - Marketing aepartment, audit department and accounting department is located in thisfloor.
These department will need to communicate with each other often, that's why theyare located in
the same floor

floor - The IT room is located here. The IT department is responsible for handling
passwords,order processing, product and service questions, pricing information, system
transfers,and general inquiries.6

floor - Audio visual department and graphic & design department is located here.
Thesedepartment will need to communicate with each other often, that's why they are locatedin
the same floor 7

floor - Software enveloping laboratory is located in this floor. The location is near the
audiovisual, graphic and design, and IT department because it has some similar function sothey
can communicate easily.8

floor - Research department and quality control department is located in this floor. The
qualitycontrol department has no internet connection because this is the place where
theemployee will check their product and productivity. There is no need for the internet.9

floor - Staff office is located here, where the staff will settle and work on their task.

floor - Two conference rooms, presidents and vice presidents office is located in this floor.The
conference rooms doesn't have access to the internet. Because this is the place tohandle meeting
or seminar which not requiring the internet
