Collaborated closely with Halff Associates valuation specialists for 15+ years to annually determine stock price
for the purposes of internal transactions and determining ESOP account balances.
Led the acquisition of a 20-person engineering firm, determining firm value and how to finance the transaction;
previously analyzed more than a dozen potential acquisitions and completed five.
Converted an existing accounting system to a project-based ERP system in order to achieve enhanced efficiency,
decrease manpower needs, and expedite turnover of work in process and accounts receivables.
Implemented an HSA in 2010 that has saved Halff Associates ~$1M to date; also Introduced a program in 2012
that lowered health insurance costs 18% in 2013, a $1.2M cost savings.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (1997-2014)
Promoted to serve on the companys management team and CFO in 1997. Prior roles at Halff include Business Manager
and Controller. Oversaw accounting for the Trustee-directed portion of all plan assets, accounting of five real estate
limited partnerships, three subsidiaries, and all other accounting issues that arose for the business.
Evaluated and oversaw the employee benefit package and directed the process for salary/bonus administration.
Maintained strict cost controls for property & casualty, workers compensation, and professional liability insurance
programs, with renewals averaging +/- 2% versus an industry average of 10% increases.
Managed the end-of-year tax liability process to maximize profits and minimize taxes each year; ran the firm on an
accrual basis, but paid taxes on the cash basis.
Developed, directed and maintained the firms banking relationships and served as primary liaison with insurance
brokers, business consultants, and outside accountants.
Directed up to 20 team members in accounting and human resources functions; trained, mentored, and developed
staff in such a way to produce low turnover among direct reports.

PRESIDENT (2007-Present)
A subsidiary of Halff Associates that designs, manufactures, and sells products that enhance air conditioner efficiency.
Held position simultaneously while serving as CFO to Halff Associates; maintains role of Mist upon retiring from Halff.
Directs operations in delivering a unique approach to solving problems related to evaporative cooling; led team in
securing five US patents and numerous trademarks while developing several proprietary product features.
Markets products that save residential customers 15%-30% on cooling costs, depending on weather; also promotes
commercial applications that reduce cooling expense 15%-40%.
Communicated additional value to consumers, including greater cooling capacity, lower peak demand, lower supply
air temperatures, and longer equipment life.
Provided key startup leadership in 2007, guiding team members in research, product design and manufacturing, and
