Daniel Frozenfar no c is wrong because theyre saying b is in between a and c
which is impossible, b is saying that because of rolles theorem, theres a chanc
e that f(x) doesnt always equal zero in between a and b
December 10 at 10:49pm Like
Dmitriy Russian Timokhin your trippin c is a<c<b
December 10 at 10:51pm Like
Zach Chun C definitely is wrong because cusps exists though, f should be bot
h continuous and differentiable for MVT (and rolle's theorem)

Just clarifying, the upper/lower reimann sum depend on the slope of the curve at
that point, right? So like the upper reimann sum would take the higher value of
that subinterval and the lower reimann sum would take the lower value of that s
ubinterval?

Sabrina Karimi wait I'm still not clear on how the integral went from -1, 1
to 0,1
December 10 at 9:40pm Like
Dakota Bakes because cosx is even, evaluating it from -1 to 1 is the same as
evaluating it from 0 to 1 times 2
