A Philosophy of Paradise

Introduction
"Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right."-Henry Ford

Of course, this means that God (life) is

also wise and open-minded. Whatever
you do with your life is 100% "spiritually
blessed." You're always okay--God
(life) likes everything. Your life is
always 100% divinely perfect--even
when you don't think it is at all.

As a professional astrologer for the last

30+ years, I have been intimately
involved in the personal and career
lives of thousands of people. I learned
that everyone has one key thing in
common--we're all trying to be happy.
This book is the result of the "gifts"-some sweet and some bitter--bestowed
upon me by my fellow human beings.
These experiences have produced my
own personal philosophy of how to find
happiness, what I call "Paradise, in
each and every moment of your life.

So you're stuck--you can't do anything

God (life) doesn't completely approve
of. You can't become a "better" or a
"worse" person. You can't do this or
that to be more spiritual or fulfilled. All
you get to do is just live--that is your
destiny. Plus, you get to doubt yourself
and wonder if you're doing a "good" job
of it. Depending on your answer, you
either feel happy or unhappy.

Like everyone else, my experiences

create my beliefs and vice-versa. We
all tend to see only what we believe we
should see. Luckily, one of my core
beliefs is a faith that life is good--I am
optimistic. Consequently, I have
developed an objective and optimistic
philosophy of life, based mostly on
astrology--because of my belief that
such a philosophy existed.

Which means that God (life) is also

responsible, disciplined and exacting.
God (life) lets us judge ourselves--and
others. To the extent we judge out of
fear, it leads to many bitter conclusions.
Which leads us to see God (life) as far
too cold, cruel, violent and destructive-a reasonable and common belief.

So God (life) obviously has a great

sense of humor, among other qualities.
It is funny that the only purpose of life is
to live. Laughter is ironic happiness.
So long as you're alive, you're 100%
successful at life. Like pregnancy, you
can't be just a little alive. You are or
you aren't. Thank God (life) for that.

For sure, God (life) destroys us all. We

all die. Luckily, that too is something
we can't possibly fail at. We die a little
each day and more one particular day-no matter what. So the pressure is on-get busy and live. Or relax and don't
bother--you're already alive.

God (life) is therefore also very kind and

generous. Failure is impossible. No
matter what you do, short of dying, you
can't possibly fail in your life. When you
eventually do die, well, since death is
part of life, you've again succeeded at
life. So the heat is off.

God (life) is thus very smart. The more

you live in such a way that you like
yourself--and others--the happier you
feel. Unhappiness is God's (life's)
greatest self-correcting mechanism for
divine balance.

A Philosophy of Paradise

Twelve Steps To Happiness

"Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be."-Lincoln

Twelve Equals One or None

Actually there are not twelve steps to
happiness. There is only one step--live.
And since you have already brilliantly
accomplished that step, there is nothing
more to do except live.

The ideal way to enjoy a healthy body is

the same as for a healthy mind. If you
only practice the "twelve" steps to
happiness for a few seconds, but you do
this often each day, you'll enjoy far more
results. You'll really know you're alive
and happy, because you're remembering
to squeeze your practice into your already
busy days as much as you possibly can.

So, if you want, laugh at how simpleminded an idea that is, stop reading this
book now and go do something more
meaningful to your life. Anything you do
will work and succeed. You'll be alive.
This is the "meaning" of Pisces--the total
sum of all life. Everything is one and is
nothing. Which is infinitely profound and
meaningless at the same time.

Round and Round We Go

Yes, the logic here is indeed self-fulfilling
(a.k.a. Pisces). The key is to frequently
remind yourself that you want to be alive
and happy.
Actually, happiness is far more forgiving
and kind than your teeth are. You can
skip practicing altogether--not even try,
want or hope to be happy for years on
end--and suddenly, when you least
expect it, surprise, something happens
and you feel happy.

Of course, there are an infinite number of

ways to live. So twelve steps may help
you re-enforce and perfect the concept of
being happy through repeated practice.
Don't worry, however, since you now
realize the steps are not all that critical.
You can make lots of mistakes or forget
something and still succeed perfectly.

That's a scary thought. You're not really

in firm control of your own happiness.
Sometimes it comes totally uninvited
despite your best efforts. What a high.

Dental and Mental Hygiene

Teeth and happiness have a lot in
common. If you brush your teeth with
great discipline, focus and vigor for a
couple of hours straight, but only do this
once a month and ignore them the rest of
the time, guess what happens? Your
teeth will soon rot and fall out. Sorry.

It seems to also leave in the same way.

One minute you're happy, everything's
great and then poof--gone. You're
unhappy. A few up-down cycles like that
and you may decide to completely give
up and waste away slowly or go all in one
big bang (Pisces).

Let's say instead that you brush your

teeth for only a few seconds, but you do
this many times during the day. Guess
what? You have great teeth. Frequent
attention for short--or longer--periods of
time yields the best results.

Or, you may decide to rededicate yourself

to practicing the "twelve" steps to being
happy. How silly serious life is (Pisces).

pure magic. These movies, children, art,
