"Elections are about a lot more than pushing a button (or not) at the ballot box come Election Day, and
that's especially true for local elections, in which voters get to decide who will run their own city, who will
represent their own neighborhoods, and who will sit in their own courtrooms, said Thompson. The 2015
Philadelphia municipal elections will decide Philly's next mayor, but also which voices will be heard most
forcefully in decisions during a pivotal time of change for the whole city. This election will be important,
and it will be interesting -- I promise -- and my goal is to help show PhillyVoice.com readers why."
With its new contributors, PhillyVoice.com will provide readers with original, stimulating content that
represents the region and reflects a sense of community, thereby building long-term loyalty with its online
audiences.
