ABSTRAK

Hubungan pengetahuan dan ekonomi keluarga terhadap perilaku konsumsi sayurbuah pada remaja
LATAR BELAKANG
Konsumsi sayur dan buah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sangat penting karena manfaat
yang didapat sangatlah banyak. Prevalensi nasional mengenai kurangnya konsumsi
sayur dan buah pada remaja sebesar 93,6%. Berdasarkan fakta serta uraian di atas
menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas penduduk terutama remaja memiliki perilaku
kurangnya konsumsi sayur dan buah dan berbagai faktor yang dapat
mempengaruhinya serta melihat berbagai dampak yang akan ditimbulkan akibat
kurangnya konsumsi buah dan sayur.
METODE
Penelitian menggunakan studi observasional-analitik dengan desain potong lintang
yang mengikutsertakan 80 murid kelas XI SMA 23, Tomang, Jakarta Barat. Data
dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuisioner yang meliputi usia, jenis kelamin,
pendidikan, pengetahuan gizi, ekonomi keluarga. Perilaku konsumsi sayur dan buah
diukur dengan menggunakan kuisioner FFQ (Food Frequency Questionnaire) semi
kuantitatif. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan tingkat kemaknaan
yang digunakan besarnya 0,05.
HASIL
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan nilai signifikan yaitu p>0,05 yang berarti
bahwa usia, jenis kelamin, pengetahuan gizi dan tingkat ekonomi tidak berhubungan
dengan perilaku konsumsi sayur-buah pada remaja. Namun, perilaku konsumsi sayur
dan buah pada remaja cukup baik dimana 52,5 % responden telah mengkonsumsi
sayur dan buah dengan cakupan yang baik serta sebanyak 77,5% responden memiliki
tingkat pengetahuan tentang gizi yang baik.
KESIMPULAN
Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara faktor-faktor usia,
jenis kelamin, pengetahuan gizi dan tingkat ekonomi keluarga dengan konsumsi
sayur dan buah pada remaja.

ABSTRACT
The correlation between knowledge and socio economic status with fruits and
vegetables consumption behavior in adolescents
BACKGROUND
Consumption of vegetables and fruits in daily living is very important because there
are lot of benefits will come. National prevalence of the lack of fruit and vegetable
consumption among adolescents are 93.6%. Based on the facts and the description
above, shows that majority of the population, especially adolescents, have a bad
behavioral for fruits and vegetables consumption and many factors that can influence
it as well as see many impacts that would be caused by lack of fruits and vegetables
consumption.
METHODS
A cross-sectional observational analytic study was conducted and a total of 80
students in class XI were included at 23 Senior High school, Tomang area, West
Jakarta. Data collection was by questionnaire-based to covering age, gender,
education, knowledge of nutrition, social economic status. Assessment of fruits and
vegetables consumption behavior was performed using the Semi-Quantitative Food
Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ-SQ). Data analysis was performed using Chi-Square
Test and level of significance was set at 0.05
RESULTS
Based on the research results, which demonstrate significant p value > 0.05, which
means that the age, gender, nutritional knowledge and social economic levels are not
associated with vegetables and fruits consumption behavior in adolescents. However,
the results showed that behavioral consumptions of fruit and vegetable is good
enough, where 52.5% of respondents had consumed vegetables and fruits with good
intake and as much as 77.5% of respondents have a good level of nutritional
knowledge.
CONCLUSIONS
The research result shows that there are no correlation between the factors of age,
gender, nutritional knowledge and social economic level with fruits and vegetables
consumption behavior in adolescents.
