Course Description
LBYMATC (G.E. Natural Science New Materials track Chemistry Laboratory) The Laboratory component od
SCIENVC will expand understanding of the lecture topics by providing the students with an experience of
scientific knowledge acquisition. Activities include hands-on experiments, demonstrations and inter class
debates.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student is expected to present the following learning outcomes in line with
the Expected Lasallian Graduate Attributes (ELGA)
ELGA
Learning Outcome
LO1: On completion of the course, the students are expected to create varied
materials that will promote to the public a chemistry-informed awareness about
plastics/environment, drugs, household products or food/nutrition.
LO2: On completion of the course, the students are expected to execute
specific procedural tasks in laboratory experiments. Interpret, and present
experimental results in a logical manner and be aware of the responsible use of
chemicals by practicing proper waste disposal
