WEEK OF POWER ...
Calling Everyone to PRAY & FAST before the
“His Life 17th FOUNDATION DAY”
Celebration on February 14, 2010.
For the past number of years already, we have called
every His Life Covenanted Member to join this 5-day
humiliation, prayer and fasting event, as we gear up for our
Annual FOUNDATION Day. We desire to see ourselves
corporately consecrated before the Lord.
Beginning with ourselves, families, small groups and
ministries. Let's believe God for power, purity, unity and
praise to be the result of this. Great men and women
throughout history has been called by God to humble
themselves through fasting and prayer. Although we
believe that fasting is never a means of grace, we also
believe that it is a spiritual weapon God uses to advance
His kingdom, change the destiny of nations, spark revival,
and bring victory in people's lives. There is something
powerful that happens when we voluntarily humble
ourselves, seek God's will, and agree with Him for His
purposes to be fulfilled.
We are calling and inviting on every friend and member of
His Life to join this call to Fast and Pray, dubbed as the
“Week of POWER”. As we fast as one spiritual family for 5
days from January 25 to 29, 2010 … God will speak to you
and lead you in His desires and glory and to the fullness of
the LORD Jesus Christ. Hallelujah, we will experience the
fullness of the Holy Spirit. Get ready to see God move in
our midst!
Why FAST and PRAY?
• Because JESUS himself Fasted and Prayed.

• Because Christian Leaders Fasted and Prayed.

• Because JESUS ASSUMES that as His Followers
will be FASTING and Praying.

What Can YOU do
during the
Week of POWER?
1. JOIN The Call to Fast
and Pray without Public Display.
2. COME to a United Prayer Meeting at any Center or
SITE that is open for this (1215noon OR 530pm).
3. READ our Church Covenant plus our Devotional
Guide for “WEEK of POWER”.
4. READ and MEDITATE on the Book of ACTS during
the course of your Prayer and Fasting.
What’s Your Attitude During this
Week of POWER?
• Believe this is the RIGHT thing to do.
• Believe you CAN do this discipline by the grace of
God even during regular work or school days.
• Believe that it is GOD who is leading you.
• Get Excited and Committed.
• Be PRACTICAL as you start your fast. See the
following pointers below:
- Eat raw fruit and vegetables for two days
before starting your fast.
- Likewise, do not eat solid food
immediately after your fast.
- Break your fast with fruit, vegetables, and soup.
- Reintroduce solid food to your diet gradually
and slowly.
- If you are doing this for the 1st time, try the
ONE MEAL Fast a day only program.
NOTE: Choose and determine what type of fast you
will commit to do: Will it be a Water Fast only? Partial
Fasting? One a Day Meal Fast? Fruits & Vegetable Diet
only? Make sure you consult with your Doctor for advice.
SUGGESTION: Have LUNCH Time as the FAST,
then JOIN the UNITED Prayer Meeting at your Local
Church. Pray in POWER!
