Personal Summary
I am hardworking and committed individual, with a good musical and retail based background. I posses
excellent communication skills and have the ability and experience to relate to a wide range of people. I
enjoy learning new things, I can work very well under pressure and I have the sales experience to handle
customer complaints and solving problematic situations.I have been a guitar teacher for 6 years until recently
moving to Bristol, and have a strong passion for electric and acoustic guitar in all styles. I also have great
retail experience from working in supervisor roles and am very flexible with regards to hours.

Employment History
Holland & Barrett Bath/Bristol Store- Supervisor (July 2013-November 2014)
Working full-time as a supervisor in a busy store required excellent motivational and organizational skills.
My responsibilities included opening/closing the store, banking, stock management, handling customer
queries, and organizing strategies so the team and I could function as productively as possible. Maintaining
the highest level of customer service was crucial in order to meet targets.
Next- Sales Assistant- Cardiff (Sept 2010- 2013 July)
Working as a sales consultant has provided me with excellent customer service skills and the ability to have
great product knowledge in a vast product area. Working predominantly as a till manager required excellent
customer service skills, exemplary knowledge of services we can provide both in-store and online, great
communicational skills used to train new staff members, as well as dealing with customer complaints and
returns. Further responsibilities included locking the store and being a store first aider. I also regularly
achieved the highest level appraisal for providing the highest standard of customer service.
Next- Delivery Manager- Two stores in Bath(Sept 2008- 2010)
Experienced in leading a small team, meeting productivity and store managers targets, health and safety
requirements in the stockrooms, liaison with the warehouse and delivery drivers. Further requirements
included dealing with customer orders, replenishment, recall, faulty, and wrong chain items.
My responsibilities also included holding two sets of store keys, organizing strategies, completing the
delivery (at two separate stores), handling the paper work and delivery reports, setting the alarms and locking
up the shop.

Self Employed Guitar Teacher- (2007)
Working as a guitar teacher in my local music shop in Bath provided me with basic retail skills from till
service, to recommending in-store guitars and equipment to students. From working with a wide variety of
students, I have further improved my communicational skills, lesson planning, adaptable approaches, in
order to provide a fun and educational experience to each student.
