Baby Dedication & Baby Baptism

This is a controversial and disputed issue among traditional churches and nontraditional churches.
In both case parents bring their children before the laymen in public and makes a
vow in upbringing the child in faith of God.
In traditional churches the priest will dip the child up to neck deep in water and
declare, he/ she is baptized in the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. An
elderly person will stand as intermediate in bringing up the child in faith to God.
This is a big performance and celebration.
In baby dedication parents (Father of the child) declares, he will bring the child in
faith. Nontraditional church also makes it as a big performance and celebration to
fool others as if they are doing greater things.

What is the point and who is the winner?

The Bible does not say, children should be baptized so that is wrong for nontraditional churches.
These non-traditional churches rather pretend as if they are doing exactly what is
said in the Bible. The Bible does not say, you must do a baby dedication.
In fact, no baby dedication and no child baptism are said in the Bible.
Both are wrong and there is no winner. If at all you do one of the things dont
boast yourself and say the other one is wrong and mock at them.
What Bible Say :--

Bible: Deuteronomy 6: 4 - 7
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.5 You shall love the
LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall
teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your
house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you
rise.
Quoting above from the Bible you dont have to declare a baby dedication.
Because Jesus said, believer must be baptized that does not say you should
baptize your infant.

Bible; Mathew 28: 19, Jesus said: Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit.
Those who want to believe in Jesus and what he said have to be baptized at their
interest and not at the interest of any groups or churches. The declaration of faith
and acceptance of baptism is the believers concern and not any one else. The
point is if you believe in God, you must obey everything He said and show an
example to your children and to others.
When people get married they make a promise in the Church, before the public,
they will look after and will be loyal to each other. How many husbands are true
to their wives and how many wives are true to their husbands. These dishonest
parents promise for the little ones in Baby dedication and Baby baptism bigger
things.
Bible: Mathew 7: 18, A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree
bear good fruit.
If the tree is bad the fruit also will be bad. If the parents are wicked, the children
will be worse. That is what we see around us.
First thing is parents must confess before God and cry loudly for the children
before Him.
To me a priest and a pastor are the two sides of same coin; none is better than
the other.
Bible: Mathew 11: 15, Jesus said, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
When God says who ever is willing to obey him, let them and let others do what
they want. But the churches are not like that they enforce martial law and enforce
punishment also.
Bible: Mathew 18: 22, Jesus said, Jesus answered, "I tell you, you forgive
not seven times, but seventy-seven times
You follow Jesus and what he taught, not the misleading priests and pastors for
your own good.
What is said in the Bible 5000 years ago and what is said in Upanishads at the
same period is also all the same but under different names, different banners or
under different cover pages.

Dont try to degrade another religion; you will see the real truth only after your
death. Books are all there, read them and choose what seems to be good for
you. I can never claim, I am above all mistake, but I sincerely try to do my best
before God, for his sake and not to fool the public. What the public judges me
does not matter but what Jesus judge is all that matters.
Knowing real self will tell you where you stand because you cannot lie to
yourself. Your conscience will blast you. Think of yourself what kind of a human
being are you, honest or dishonest? This is my request to you. Be good to
yourself and also to others.
I do not wish to misquote any of the Bible passage because I do not represent
any particular sect and I do not support or oppose any. The Bible tells the
TRUTH which is the word of God. Todays Christians have along way to go.
As it is they are under a brand name having no True quality of a Christian should
have.
