*A student must be enrolled for at least 36 units to be considered full-time. A student enrolled for less than 36 units is part-time. In the MPM, MSIT and
HRM programs, the per unit tuition rate is charged to students enrolled for less than 48 units. Students in these programs who are enrolled for 48 or
more units are charged full tuition. In all other programs, the per unit tuition rate is charged to students enrolled for less than 36 units; students in these
programs who are enrolled for 36 or more units are charged full tuition. Following are the estimated per-unit tuition rates. All figures are estimated
amounts and are subject to change.

**Estimated fees may include a $99 per semester activity fee (charged to students enrolled for more than 18 units) and a $60 per semester
transportation fee (service not available to MSIT students), a $185 per semester CMU technology fee and a one-time $120 credential verification fee.
The transportation fee allows eligible students to take advantage of all the services of Port Authority Transit without additional charge by showing their
Carnegie Mellon University ID. Nominal fees for course materials may also be charged to the student account for some courses.
*** Health insurance fees vary. Full-time students will be assessed an annual fee to cover the cost of the basic health insurance plan offered by the
university. The fee will be waived for students who provide the university with verification of health care coverage from another source. Students also
will be given the opportunity to increase coverage and will receive information of plan options and prices from the university prior to enrollment. All
questions about student health insurance should be directed to Student Health Services (http://www.studentaffairs.cmu.edu/HealthServices/).
SUMMER GRADS, PLEASE NOTE: Health insurance coverage generally runs from August 1st - July 31st. Students graduating in the summer must contact
Lori Smith (lorigs+@andrew.cmu.edu) before July 31st in order to extend coverage from July 31st to the end of the summer semester.
The preceding estimates are used for federal financial aid calculation purposes. International students may use these figures as a guideline for creating personal budgets.
I-20 eligibility is NOT based on these estimates (please refer to www.cmu.edu/oie).
