in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory."
Scripture:
"So I am willing to endure anything if it will bring salvation and eternal glory in Christ Jesus to those
God has chosen." 2 Timothy 2:10

Heavenly Father,
The Lord lives! Praise to my Rock! May God, the Rock of my salvation, be exalted! Praise the Lord!
Let all that I am praise the Lord.I will praise the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God
with my dying breath. Father, I pray that I would quickly confess my sin so that there would be
nothing hindering Your work in my life. I pray You would convict me when my motives are impure;
convict me of any unconfessed in in my life. I pray that You would convict me to deal with any
unforgiveness in my heart as it separates me from the power and strength I have in You. Father, I
pray that you grow my prayer life; cause me to long for secret time with you, give me a desire to set
aside time to be with You, not only to submit my request to You, but to hear a word from You. I pray
that I would purposefully set aside time pray for and with my children/grandchildren. I pray that my
prayer life would encourage and teach my children/grandchildren about the power of prayer and your
faithfulness to those that love You. I pray that I would make it a point to be more present in the lives
of my children/grand children; create in me a willingness to set aside the things that can wait so that I
may instill in them the powerful life transforming Truth found only in You.
Father, I come before your presence earnestly praying on the behalf of my children/grandchildren for
a transforming life. I pray that my grandchildren would desire to seek you at the earliest age of
understanding of who You are. I pray that You would begin the work in their hearts and it would
consume them with an never ending desire to be like You. I pray that they NOT desire this world or
anything in it. I pray they would love You with their whole hearts, souls and minds. Father, I lift up
these requests in your name Jesus. Amen

Scriptures
Psalm 146:1-2 Praise the Lord! Let all that I am praise the Lord. I will praise the Lord as long as I
live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath.

DAY 2

Topic:
A Servant's Heart"God, please help my children develop servant's hearts, that they may serve
wholeheartedly, as if they were serving the Lord, not men."
Scripture:
Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people" Ephesians
6:7

Heavenly Father,
You are my all in all. My only hope; a God of boundless never ending love and mercy. I pray Father
that I would Not desire my children to be successful by worldly standards, but my children's success
would be counted as righteous and real, producing tangible fruit in abundance for Your Kingdom. I
pray that you would prepare my children for the rejection that will come as they follow You. I pray
Lord that You would strengthen them for the battle that lies ahead, as their souls are being fought for
in a world I cannot see. I pray for myself to not get caught up in worldly affairs that distract me from
being the parent you have called me to be. I pray I would be a godly helpmate to my husband,
understanding the role you given him, that I would honor and respect his role as head of our home. I
pray I would strive to submit even if I don't agree with final decisions he may make in regards to
parenting our children. I pray when my child is hurting I would love, comfort and encourage them and
quickly point them to You knowing my love can only carry them so far, for it is your power that will
save them.
I pray Lord when temptation comes to steal my children away from a life lived fully for You, You
would reveal yourself in such a way that they cannot deny your presence or power. Father, remove
any evil influences that may take them away from Your Truth. I pray Father that if they stray away
from You, You would cause their hearts to be soften and restored back to You. I pray Father that
would You show them favor and grant them the desires of their hearts when it is pleasing and
honorable to You. I pray that my children would be bent toward the poor and oppressed and always
seeking ways to serve them. I pray for my children's protection against the evils of this world; protect
them, guide them and surround them with godly souls. I lift up these requests to you Father in the
name of Jesus Christ. Amen

CHILDREN Day 3

Day 3

Topic:
Perseverance"Lord, teach my children perseverance in all they do, and help them especially to run
with perseverance the race marked out for them."
Scripture:
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything
that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked
out for us Hebrews 12:1
Heavenly Father,
Today I devote myself entirely to your purposes laying aside everything that hinders me from having
full access to You. Father my hearts desire is that I would be conformed into the image of Christ, that
I may stand out in the world as the light of Christ shines through me. I submit myself to your perfect
ways that you may refine me an purify my heart. I pray I would set You continually before me and
follow your direction for living in this world. I pray I would meditate much on Your word and follow the
perfect instructions found only in Your Word. Father keep me from following the path of the
unrighteous and set my feet on the path of everlasting life. When I grow tired or feel content never
stop increasing my hunger for Your Word, draw me close to you, consume me with your everlasting
love. As this new week begins reveal to me ways that I can be closer to you. I pray I would not allow
peoples expectations to control me, but that I would stand true to You and refuse to compromise my
standard of living as a sold out servant of the king.
Father, I lift up my children to You. I pray that they would feel led and convicted to live life
surrendered to You; glorifying your name in all that they do. I pray that the things of this world would
not entice them to step away from Your truth. I pray that they would stand and not fall with the many
trails that will come in this life. I pray that you would strengthen them so they will not compromise
their faith, but that they would hold on to the truth found only in your Word causing them to be a light
in this dark world. I pray that You would cause my children to live life with the desire of being more
like You. Cause them to count all things joy and to not be surprised when trials come their way, as
these trails are purifying them of the things of this world, working to make them mature and complete
in you. Cause them to so long for Your presence that their eyes would be set on the promise of
eternity with You, giving them the strength and hope to persevere in every trial. I pray my children
would set their minds on knowing You and not the pursuits of this world. Prepare them for the work
you have seat aside for them and bring godly friends into their circle. Reveal to them the
hopelessness of living for the things of this world; give them the wisdom to see the emptiness that is
found in the things that belong to this world and allow them to see and experience the pure hope, joy
and peace that can only be found in a relationship with You Father. I love YOU Father.
I lift these requests to you Father in Jesus Name. Amen

Children Day 4
By Katherine Walker on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 9:18pm

Topic: Mercy"May my children always be merciful, just as their Father is merciful."

Scripture:"Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful" Luke 6:36
Oh Merciful and loving God, I come before you today, thanking you for the privilege of knowing who you
are. I Give thanks to you O Lord, for YOU are good. Your loving-kindness lasts forever. Your Word is right.
You, God, are faithful in all you do. As I pray to you, I ask that you forgive me of my sins, and
transgressions, forgive my evil desires and wicked thoughts. I am rebellious and make choices that do not
honor you, I hurt people by my words and my actions. I have served my own desires and doubted you
more times than I wish to admit. BUT you God in all your MERCY, you have forgiven me. You knew I
would fail, so you sent your only son to die in my place, because only Jesus would qualify as the perfect
sacrifice. He was the only offering that would serve as truly acceptable, without spot or wrinkle, your first
fruit, and you gave him up for me. I pray according to the power in your Word, in Hebrews 2:17 For this
reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way a merciful and faithful high priest in
service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. Thank you Lord for this
extravagant love. This Agape Love that you freely give to all who believe in your son Jesus Christ. Jesus
as I come before you praying for my family, I thank your for the privilege of knowing this love, a mothers
love, that is so different and unique, so unexplainable, that can only come from you. Help me to express
this in my parenting daily. May you give me the opportunities to show my kids this love that is deep within
me. Give me strength to put everything that I have to do aside, never allowing people, places or things in
my life to win the fight for the time & attention that belongs to my children. Give me strategies and wisdom
to teach them to be like you, to be Merciful just as you are merciful. Jesus may I instruct my children in
your Word, according to James 2:13 because judgment without mercy will be shown, to anyone who has
not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. Helping them to understand when they are merciful to
others, God you will be merciful to them. Bless my children with insightful people who continually share
their testimonies of this great mercy and who are practicing it daily. Surround them with Friends who will
encourage them to seek your righteousness and counsel with all their hurts and offenses. I rebuke in the
name of Jesus, any friendships that will cause them to seek their own revenge and redemption with out
first coming to you. According to the authority and power given to us, from you Jesus, we confidently ask,
knowing you will hears us. (1 John 5:14) that our children live according to your Word in Matthew 18, that
says they will forgive others 70 times 7, they will be merciful servants, forgiving their brothers and sisters
in their hearts! Lord, I understand that I play one of the biggest earthly roles, and it is my job to show them
what mercy looks likes. When I am faced with opportunities to express mercy, to anyone who has hurt
me, help me offer forgiveness. Especially when it comes to my own children, I understand I will be hurt by
my child, but help me to forgive them, Help me to comfort them, Help me pick them up when they have
fallen, Help me Jesus to parent them the way you parent me, showing me mercy and forgiveness when I
deserve your punishment and wrath. Jesus, I thank you for the privilege to teach my children that Mercy is
a gift that blesses the giver and the receiver. And that this spiritual gift is one that has first been given to

us from you, it is by your grace, love and power, that we continue to share it as often as you ask it from us,
without hesitation or quarrel, in Jesus name we pray, Amen! PRAYER WRITTEN by Annie Ortiz

Children Day 5

DAY 5

Growth in Grace
I pray that my children may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be
glory both now and forever.
Lord Jesus,
I confess my failings as a mother in the things that matter. Help me each day to admit I need you to
parent with me. Guide me in setting a guard over my mouth and keeping watch over my lips as I
speak to, with, and especially in the disciplining of my children. Thank you for an amazing husband
who parents alongside me. I pray for the women I know and love who are doing this parenting gig
alone and succeeding because of their dependency on you. Lead us all in the way we should talk
about you and represent you in our home and outside of it. Lead us in how to point our children to
you before we go to bed and when we rise in the morning.
I lift my children up to you, knowing you love them more than I ever could. My deepest desire, from
the day they were born, is that they would grow to know you as Lord, to have an accurate knowledge
of you as creator, savior, and lover of their souls. Knowledge of your grace cannot be earned, and it
flows freely to those who acknowledge you as Lord and Savior. I pray they would have a desire and
love for your Word throughout their lives. I pray they would search it to know you more, and for
guidance and direction.
I pray they would grow in personal grace in the way they share your love with others. Not offensive to
turn people away, but speaking your truth in love. I pray people would be drawn to them, and thus to
you, because of your love in them. May the knowledge they attain not lead them to selfrighteousness, but to a more complete understanding that as grace has been given to them by Jesus
Christ, they need to extend that grace to those who have yet to know him.
Thank you for the ability to know you, God of heaven and earth and for the grace that is ours through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

DAY 7
Today ladies our prayer is interactive. I'll start and near the end there's a section for you to pray
specifically for your child or children. Don't feel like you have to post your prayer, unless of course,
you feel led to. It can be between you and God.
TOPIC:
"Grant, Lord, that my children may learn to live a life of love, through the Spirit who dwells in them."
Scripture - Ephesians 5:2 Be full of love for others, following the example of Christ who loved you
and gave himself to God as a sacrifice to take away your sins. And God was pleased, for Christs
love for you was like sweet perfume to him. (LB)
What a privilege Lord, to be a mom! With that privilege comes great responsibility. I thank you for the
three beautiful souls that you have entrusted to me and I ask for forgiveness for the times I didnt
show love to them times I yelled when I should have hugged; times I was too busy when I
shouldve taken the time to listen. Im so glad that although I have shortcomings and do sin, You
dont Abba Father! You who created the world by speaking; You who loved us enough to come down
to earth and be one of us just because You love us and want us to be with You eternally You are
Jehovah Shommah Always there to hear us, spend time with us, protect us, LOVE us! You ARE
love and we worship You this day!
Today Lord we pray that our children learn not only to love but to live a life full of Your love so that
others will see You in them. Just as You have loved Your own Son, You love my children and I thank
You! Please cause them to abide in Your love! Please ignite my children to love You with their whole
heart, soul, mind and strength. Help me to show them often, Christs example of sacrificial love. Give
them hearts to love others as much as they love themselves. Father God, stir up kindness and
tenderheartedness in them. You are for my children and not against them. Make them more than
conquerors through You who love them. We ask that you grant our children a supernatural love for
the Scriptures and make them men and women of God who are competent and equipped for every
good work. Cause the love of my children to abound more and more with knowledge and insight so
that they can discern what is best as there is so much evil out there to snare them - much more than
when we were children - and they need Your discernment; Your wisdom; Your insight too! Let them
be forgiving people as they have been forgiven. Remind them that when they stumble or fall in their
faith that when they confess their sins to You that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and
to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Hallelujah! You wont hold it over their heads Lord, and help me
not to hold their shortcomings over their heads, but to show compassion and love as You show
love to us every day without fail.
Today, Lord, I pray that my child _______________________________.

Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to
the power that works within us All glory and honor to Him through Christ Jesus! Amen!

Day 8

Topic:
Passion for God
Scripture:
"Lord, please instill in my children a soul that 'followeth hard after thee,' one that clings passionately
to You." Psalm 63:8

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for Father for another day, I surrender all to You this morning. I pray for the courage and
strength to embrace all that it holds regardless of how I am feeling; top of the world or deep in the
valley. I pray my soul would yearn for quiet time with You. Refresh my heart Father and give me the
will to pursue what is righteous. I pray for the courage and boldness to press hard after You. I pray
my heart would be tender towards those who wish to cause me harm. I pray for their hearts to be
washed cleaned. I pray that I would stay active in my faith and NEVER be satisfied with staying the
same, but forever changing and growing more and more into your likeness daily. I pray You would
surround me with people who are encouragers of Your Word. Who Love YOU first, themselves last.
Father, guide and direct my steps as a mother. I pray for the understanding to fully grasp the
consequences of raising my children in a home where YOU are not the highest priority. I pray that I
would guide my children with Your Word. Father bring strong godly mothers into my circle to help me
on this journey of being a mother. I pray I would shepherd my children well and grow them up in the
ways of You Father. Put within my children a passion for You that consumes them. I pray after today
they are never the same, that changes would begin happening in their hearts that draw them close to
you. I pray that they would hear when You speak to them. I pray that my entire household would be
totally dependent upon You. I pray with earnestness and fervency our witness would grow bolder as
a family. Thank you Father for listening to my prayers. I love you and lift up these words from my
heart to You. In Your mighty and powerful name Jesus. Amen

Day 9

Topic:
Courage
Scripture:
"May my children always be strong and courageous in their character and in their actions" Deut. 31:6

Heavenly Father,
I lift up my pastor this morning as he teaches/preaches Your Word; I pray his words are YOUR
Words. I pray for a holy transformation to take place in those who hear Your Word. I pray that You
would renew, refresh and teach me today. I pray my actions would reveal to others who I am in You.
Draw me close to You, keep me in Your Word and reveal to me the areas in my in which I need
transformation. Father, go ahead my children preparing the path that You have for them to walk.
Prepare their hearts that they may be completely surrendered to You in all things. As they walk in
faith place the memory of Your faithfulness deep within them, that they may draw strength and
courage from Your faithfulness when they are weary and fearful. Father, I pray that I would live a life
that demonstrates your faithfulness to my children and that I would courageously serve You. Father, I
pray that through your faithfulness in my life that my children would gain the courage to proclaim the
truth of who You are in a world that rejects You and the work of Christ on the cross. Help me to
demonstrate to my children that courage does not come from their abilities, but rather they can have
courage because of Your power and faithfulness. I pray that my children would always seek Your
approval and never the approval of man. Father, bless my children, keep their hearts pure and
protect them from the evil one. I pray these words in Your name Jesus. Amen

Children Day 10

DAY 10

Topic:
Generosity
Scripture:
"Grant that my children may be generous and willing to share, and so lay up treasure for themselves
as a firm foundation for the coming age." (1 Tim. 6:18-19)
Dear Heavenly Father, We come before you today with a thankful heart.
You are a mighty, beautiful and awesome God, our King of kings, Lord of
lords, our Great I am! Oh how wonderful a privilege it is to know you are
hearing our petitions.
As we pray to you father God, we acknowledge our transgressions, we
are sinners and we fall short of your glory daily, but all praise and honor be
to your name JESUS, that we are forgiven. We thank you Lord for your
generosity towards us, your words says, YOU saved us, not because of
righteous things we had done, but because of YOUR mercy. You God,
saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,
whom you poured out on us GENEROUSLY through Jesus Christ our
Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become
heirs having the HOPE of Eternal Life. Lord help us to understand that

this life that we live is not about the-right-now, our current situations,
or circumstances, but everyday is preparation for Eternity to be with
you forever in your Kingdom.
Teach me Lord to be a generous person, to comprehend that generosity
in your kingdom is NOT about doing for others with expectation for
them to one day be there for us, about hearing a thank you, receiving
an award or being recognized. But Generosity in your kingdom IS an
expression of Love for you. Generosity in your kingdom IS how we show
appreciation and gratitude to you. May we grasp that it is a privilege to
bless others, and when doing so, we MUST always do it in your name,
Jesus, NEVER in our own.
Lord please hear the cry of my heart, this prayer is not just about me,
but I am covering my child in this prayer of generosity too. The World
is telling my kids, dont worry about anyone, only look after themselves,
but Your Word says, We dont live only for ourselves. The World says,
take but never give, Your Word says, it is better to give than to receive.
The World says, Get as much wealth as you can and never surround
yourself with people in a low position, Your Word says invite the
poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, since
they do not have the means to repay you; for you will be repaid at the
resurrection of the righteous."

Jesus I come boldly, according to the authority given to me that says ask
anything in your name and it will be given because you are at the right
hand of the Father, I pray my child be a person who sees a need and
does as much as they can to fill that need. I pray that my child will burn
ardently to want to help the hungry, afflicted and abused! I pray that
my child will be willing to give their time, prayer and love, not because I
said, but because Lord you said, Give generously...without a grudging
heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your
work and in everything you put your hand to. I stand on this word
today, believing that in your name, I will begin to teach my child the
importance of being a Generous Christian, for your glory, your honor,
your kingdom & for Eternity, in Jesus powerful name, we prayAmen!
