Trial Court of Caloocan City, Branch 50

1. We confirm our acceptance and engagement to act as your legal counsels of record in the aboveentitiled case.
2. We are pleased to provide the following legal services in the course of our engagement as your
legal counsels as specified above, to wit:
a. Appearing and attending on your behalf all hearings, including Mediation Hearings, Judicial
Dispute Resolution, Pre-Trial and Trial Proper of the above-entitled case;
b. Preparing and filing responsive pleadings on your behalf and any motion, petition,
manifestation, appeals, etc. as may be necessary to defend you in the above-entitled case;
c. Negotiating and agreeing to compromise, with your previous consent and instructions, with
the private and/or public complainants; and
d. Such other legal services necessary or required of us in connection with the abovecaptioned subject matter.
3. Our fees for the services mentioned in the immediately preceding paragraph shall be as follows;
a. Philippine Pesos: Forty Five Thousand (PhP45,000.00) by way of acceptance fees,
net or exclusive of any applicable taxes, payable upon signing of this Agreement.
b. Appearance fee of PhP3,500 per hearing, conference, or filing of any pleading on your
behalf as may be required or necessary to defend your case. The appearance fee shall be
due and payable on or before the actual date of hearing or filing regardless of any
postponement thereof unless the same was due to our fault or upon our request for
postponement. At the option of the Firm, we may bill you the appearance fees in advance
of any scheduled hearing dates or immediately after the said hearing dates.
c. The above-specified fees are for professional fees only and do not include disbursements
or out-of-pocket expenses in connection with, or in the course of the performance of our
work on the aforesaid case. Disbursements such as, but not limited to filing or application
fees, transportation costs, notarial, photocopying of case records, meeting expenses,
among others, shall be for your exclusive account and shall be payable as and when they
are to be incurred. We reserve the right to withhold or discontinue any of the services
covered by this Agreement for non-payment of any of the agreed fees or charges under this
agreement.Our Firm shall not be liable for any delay in the performance of any of the
services covered by this Agreement by reason of delays on your part to remit the said fees
and expenses. Pursuant to existing ethical rules of professional conduct, it is the policy of
our Firm not to advance any payment for any such fees or expenses on behalf of our
client. We reserve however the right to require a deposit for recurring or continuing out-ofpocket expenses to avoid delays in the accomplishment of any task we need to perform.

4. If the foregoing terms are acceptable to you please indicate your agreement thereto by signing on
the space provided below and returning to us one(1) copy for our file records. We are glad to be
have the opportunity to be of service to you and trust that our association will be a long and
pleasant one.
