work has been that of prying open the door of the vast nillions
to give then the nessage of Christ, with Bin as the sole awthority. Our radio progran, over the nost powerful station in
the world, has shown us where the "fields are the whitest." Be
now have over 20 Bible study groups developing into churches.

Tour experience with printing will be of great advantage in

developing our printing ministry. These Bible study groups need
tracts, sermons, booklets and lesson material s, Tou can worfe

easily with the Bngli sh'-speaking saints in Frankfurt and help

serve when tours

be made, covering 9 different nations.

There are no camps. Vacation Bible Schools, or Bible colleges in

Surope, All of these need both printing and leadership.

Ve will be leaving for Formosa

on May 22 1966, the Lord will

land lines." We are going there
for an internship to the Chinese
speaking people, since Borneo,
the country we desire to go to in
the future, is predominantly
Chinese. We plan on going there
for a year since it is so far
from America.

Formosa is a rather small

island one hundred miles off the
coast of Red China. It is about

250 miles long and 75 miles wide

If we would compare it with the
size of Missouri we would find
i t is five times smaller. The

amazing thing is that there are

three times as many people as in
Missouritwelve million.

The island got its name when

Portuguese sailors discovered it
in 1517 and said, "Ilha For
mosa," which means, "Island
Beautiful." From the pictures I
have seen and from what I have
read I can see that this i s a

very appropriate name. The

Chinese name for the island is
"Taiwan."

As I think of working there my

In Jamaica, Brother Pream and

I employed many methods to try

to go. I know several veterans

to reach the people of that land

who told me they had things

for Jesus Christ. One method

fore they went. Nevertheless, I
would like to tell you about the
island of Formosa and the work
we propose to do there.
We will call on those lAo write

that we felt was exceptionally

effective was our regular visita
tion among the churches with the
idea of coming several days for

a teaching institute. In a very

real sense this was a traveling
Bible College. We would go out
and hold classes during the day

and work with the church in
Taipei. Mrs. Dittemore tells us

together in both preaching and

in school and there will be a
