GUIDELINES FOR CHAIR OF THE SESSION

1. Please go to your session chair room at least 15 minutes before the sessions starting time
2. Contact with the Socioint14 staff in the session room and by taking help of the staff, tell all the session
presenters to load their presentations to the session laptop before the session starts.
3. Sit on the chair desk (and also presenters desk) in front of the audiences.
4. Each parallel session will be 90 minutes long. All sessions will consist of four, five or six presentations. And each
session consists of two parts: presentations, and queries & answers.
5. Divide session time equally among the presenters and also give -at least-2 minutes for queries & answers to
each presenter. (You can either give the queries & answers time just after the each presentation or give that
time as a whole for all presenters at the end of the session.
6. Before each presentation, introduce each presenter by reading Brief Biography / CV of her/him (For Biographies
look at below)
7. Remind the presenter twice - when the time is 5 minutes left, and when it is one minute left.
8. Please stick to the time as we have a tight schedule. Ask the presenter to stop immediately when her/his time is
up.
9. Encourage the audiences to participate in Queries & Answers as the time availability.
10. Thank the speakers after each presentation.

Firwan Tan is Professor at Andalas University, INDONESIA. He got his PhD from INPL in France.
He has more than 30 years experience as a lecturer in Industrial Organization.

Roperto S. Deluna Jr is an Instructor of Economics at the School of Applied Economics of the
University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao City Philippines. Currently, he is the Research
Coordinator of USEP-School of Applied Economics. His field of interest include International
Economics, Macroeconomics, Natural Resource and Environmental Economics, Project Planning
and Project Evaluation.
Ali Arshadi is a faculty member in money and banking institute. His professional filed is banking
and has written two books banking system in Iran.
Dr Ogwuru has a PhD in Economics obtained from University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is an
academic staff of department of Economics, Abia State University.His research interests
include:Monetary Economics, Development Economics and Macroeconomics.
