The promoter Shri V.Prabhudas is in the forefront of service to the humanity at times of need, proved
himself to be worthy of emulation by many a youth, when the tidal wave stuck the Diviseema in Krishna
District of Andhra Pradesh in the year 1977.
The tidal wave devastated hundreds of households and thousands of human lives and left a trail of debris,
caracas and loss of life in an unprecedented way. Shri Prabhudas when he heard this news in the AIR at the
dawn, jumped into fray the very next hour (he was then a student of AC College, Guntur), and took up
unhesitatingly the gauntlet of moving the survivors to safer places Many survivors were kids who lost their
parents and became orphans overnight. He was also actively involved in the clearance of debris and dead
bodies.
His long and unequivocal association for the cause of orphans made OXFAM, a renowned organization of
UK, to see in him a potential social worker and prompted Shri Prabhudas to continue this yeomen service to
the needy.
The birth of CReSA took place at this juncture under the stewardship of Shri V.Prabhudas in the year 1980
as an NGO.

underprivileged communities through the professionally managed and financially sustainable MFI.

STEPPING STONES
1997-98 : Participated in 13th International Dialogue Programme held at Grameen Trust, Dhaka Bangladesh and got
Start-up Seed Money Fund from Grameen Trust to replicate Grameen Model in West Godavari district of
Andhra Pradesh.
1998-99 : Associated with Rashtriya Mahila Kosh, New Delhi and received loan fund to continue the Micro Credit
Operations.
1999-00 : Attended International Micro Credit Summit Held at Abidjan in Ivory Coast, West Africa.
2000-01 : Attended Training Program on Internal Audit at Grameen Trust, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
2002-03 : Association with the FWWB, India Ahmedabad.
2003-04 : Association with the UTI Bank.
2004-05 : Association with the SIDBI.
2005-06 : Association with the ICICI Bank.
2006-07 : Association with the HDFC Bank.
2007-08 : Association with the Manaveeya Holdings & Investments pvt ltd.

OUR STRENGTH
CReSA delivered its first loan in the year 1997
with the startup capital of US $ 49,100 by
Grameen Trust, Bangladesh at its first branch
Koyyalagudem, one of the backward rural areas
of West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh.
Now CReSA has stretched its operation to East
and West Godavari Districts with 13 Branches
serving 26,000 households with its products .
In its way of women empowerment the clients
of CReSA remained as an unbeaten strength and
support. With various categories of loans,
CReSA serve its women-members for the
fulfillment of their every need and betterment
of their living standards.

OUR SYSTEM & PROCEDURES


CReSA is having all systems required for a professional MFI in place.
Strong credit approval, good asset quality and efficient internal audit system enable
CReSA to emerge as one of the leading MFIs in the state.
We are proud to present ourselves as a Grameen Replicators following the Grameen
Joint Liability Group lending system.
CReSA follows decentralized system and procedures with complete Information
Technology enabled Platform.
Our software Financial Information and Monitoring Organizer (FIMO) provided by our
technology partner M/s Jayam Solutions pvt ltd., enables us for excellent data flow
from all the corners of the organization.
We have a fully computerized interface at all our branches.
