difference. For example, the idea for our high-grade stainless steel profile PROSTYLE: offering matching
internal as well as external corner elements to achieve greater aesthetics of design. Or the development
of a special production process that aligns our profiles to the cutting direction, thus ensuring accuracy.
This greatly simplifies installation and achieves optimum results.
Other innovations with all modesty are simply ingenious, such as our floor profile systems
PROVARIO and PROCLIP. Thanks to their unique swivel joint technology, they are the first profiles to
allow a perfect transition between different flooring materials, made possible by their infinite height
and angle adjustment. This makes them particularly suitable for floorings of varying height.
Improvements like these naturally demand considerable input in the field of research & development.

practical, solid und precise!
The profile can be cut at an angle of exactly 45 using
the PROLINE bevelling shears (which can, of course,
also be adjusted to cut any other angle). The ends
meet exactly at the joint which guarantees an
aesthetically perfect result. The bevelling shears are
suitable for Profiles made from rigid PVC.

PROPARQUET
Square-edged profile for floors.
PROPARQUET is the ideal for glued floors such as parquet or solid wood. The material characteristics
and the consistent height of the post allow for easy, repeated sanding of the adjacent flooring without having
to change the post width.

over a roll that can be turned.
Fine adjustments can be made during installation.
To shape on the floor, use the anchor holes in the

PRODECOR is the first choice square-edged profile, especially for rooms laying great claim to aesthetic
design. The eight-millimetre broad face edge is an attractive boundary element and provides a decorative
solution for joins in permanent flooring.

Joint end cover profile for subsequent installation
on walls and floors.
You can even benefit from the decorative
and functional qualities of PRODECOR when
floors and walls are already installed. For example,
covering joints of different widths is childs play
with the decorative profile PRODECOR T.

PRODECOR T is a cover profile that is inserted into
the joint between two types of flooring that have already
been laid out and glued.The joint is filled with silicone, or
alternatively with acrylic, and the vertical post of the profile
is then pressed into the sealant (see frequently asked

PROROUND is an attractively designed round-edged profile. Its hollow chambers allow the insertion
of internal and external corners for that perfect optical finish. The vertical post also holds the filler firmly in
place and provides stability when bevelling rigid PVC profiles.

Thin-bed, screed and thick-bed compression profile for floors
Special situations call for special solutions and PROCONEX is just the ticket! This profile is the
optimum, long-term solution for compression and expansion joints.The joint filler ensures the necessary
flexibility; the visible width of between 5 mm and 12 mm is a real decorative highlight.

PROTECT
Stainless steel corner protection
profiles for walls.
PROTECT is available as two different models:
1. The triple-edged profile. This is affixed to the
tiling with silicone or installation adhesive.
2. The wall anchor comprises individual anchor
clips and the corner protection profile. The
anchor clips are available in different sizes to
suit the various standard tile depths. The tiles
are simply slid into the corner protection
profile, secured to the wall and screwed into
place (we recommend using two wall anchor
clips per running metre), or alternatively
affixed using standard installation adhesive.

Align the K profile on the existing concrete floor (please
note! The guidelines and regulations for sealing the screed must
be complied with), before applying the gravel bed (approximately
20-30 mm). Install the selected flooring (e. g. washed concrete
slabs) on the gravel bed. Ensure that the upper edge of the
flooring is flush with or slightly protrudes the profile edge.

PROFLUX
Floor drainage top with mounting frame.
PROFLUX is the ideal floor drainage top for later installation, such as bathroom renovation.The element
is simply placed over the existing gully and functions as a compensator profile between the screed layer
and the new tiling. The mounting frame ensures positioning at the correct level.

Mats, films and sealing tapes

They work a little like secret agents: you dont see them, you dont hear
them and they dont give anything away.
Whether you like it or not: subsurface work may not enjoy the best reputation, but it is extremely
important. Our mats, films and tapes ensure peace of mind, because they protect expensive tiling and
reliably prevent moisture penetrating into walls and floors.
Careful preparation of the foundations, however, is still essential for effective protection. For example, prior
to installation the PROMAT decoupling mat, it must be ensured that the foundation has adequate load
bearing capacity and is level. With the PRODRAIN drainage mat, the foundations must be correctly sealed
prior to installation.
Expert preparation and careful installation, along with reliable PROLINE products, ensure that wall and
floor coverings are not subject to damage by cracks and moisture and retain their attractiveness for longer.

or bedded in adhesive. The decoupling mat is not
waterproof under pressure but works as a vapour
pressure membrane (against rising damp) by distributing the pressure over the surface, in the room between
the indentations. Stress cracks in the foundations (e.g.
the load distributing layer or other substrate layers)
are not transferred to the floor finish.

Its the little things like countersunk holes in our screw-down profiles that make them just as gentle to bare
feet as they are to stockings and cleaning cloths. Or completely new products, such as the unique patented profiles PROVARIO and PROCLIP: the first products that can really be adjusted in height and angle to
adapt perfectly to different flooring thicknesses. Dominant throughout is the PROLINE philosophy to

Imitations are the best form of compliment for our products.
The development of PROVARIO

and PROCLIP is above all a
story of intensive market monitoring and scrupulous analysis. While looking closely at the run-of-the-mill
screwdown floor profile systems on the market, we noticed a number of weak points that must considerably detract from the users pleasure in using these products. The root of the problem was that although
existing profiles admirably adjusted to accommodate floor coverings of the same height, achieving any
degree of inclination to compensate the different heights was practically impossible. In other cases, it could
only be achieved by brute force, with spirited hammer blows or by bending the profile top. The outcome
was that, due to the simple boreholes, the screw heads usually protruded, resulting in unpleasant encounters
for feet and stockings.
It was clear that we needed to develop a profile system that would accommodate infinite height and angle adjustment without the need for refitting and in doing
so perfectly compensate different flooring heights.

Together with the company Fischerwerke, internationally renowned above all for their legendary
Fischer Wall Plugs, we worked out a system that could meet all these requirements: swivel joint technology.
Tangible results of this development process are the screw-down floor
profile systems PROVARIO, and PROCLIP, where the cover profile is simply
clipped on to the base profile. And thanks to PROCLIPs closed surface,
the cover profile is also available in new abrasion-proof CPL surfaces in
various wood grain designs.
Both profile systems are unique. They are protected under patent law* and are market leaders in terms
of innovation, technology and customer benefit. Its hardly surprising, then, that they are being copied.
These imitation products, however, do not live up to the same standards of functionality
and state-of-the-art technology as PROVARIO and PROCLIP. And we must admit that we
feel rather flattered that once again we have created products have become yardsticks.

The screw-down floor profile system.

PROVARIO is a profile system in aluminium consisting of transition, compensator and finishing profiles. Whats special about PROVARIO is the swivel
joint in the base profile, allowing the cover profile
infinite height and angle adjustment for adaptation
to adjoining floor coverings. This also enables harmonious transition between different types of
flooring. And theres also an added comfort-bonus
for bare feet: thanks to the four-sided screw cavity,
the screw heads always fit flush to the profile. And
fitting couldnt be easier: Simply screw down or
glue the profile base to the floor, line up the floor
coverings to the join, push the cover profile into
the joint and screw into position. Thats it!

PROCLIP comprises the same elements as PROVARIO and uses the same patented system. With the
transition and compensator profile, the cover profile is clicked into the base profile plastic joint at different
depths, depending on the height of the respective floor coverings. This accommodates floor movement
occurring in correctly installed floating parquet or laminate flooring with soundproofing, without the need
for readjustment. And since PROCLIP has no visible screws, the closed cover profile is also available with
anodized, cork, real wood veneer or the very hard-wearing CPL surface (Continuous Pressure Laminates).
This means that the profile matches the flooring structure with aesthetic perfection.

How to click into place: It couldnt be

easier to change a cover profile.
Starting under the cover profile, push a firmer chisel to the end of the strip and lever
this out of the base profile using a wooden
board. Repeat this procedure approximately
every 10cm, until the cover profile has been
completely levered out of the base profile.
Check that the plastic joint is still functional.
Should you wish to replace the joint, slice
it sharply twice using a carpet knife while
still in the base profile, so that it can be
removed from the base profile in two halves.
Now push the new plastic joint down at an
angle into the base profile, starting at the
end of the strip. The cover profile is inserted
using the same technique as for first installation.
