Scrutinizing of the SEIAA subject files by the Member and

the Member Secretary on 11-12-2007 and Proceedings of


the SEIAA meeting held on 22-12-2007 in the room
number 709, M.S. Building, Bangalore.

The Chairman welcomed the members.


Review of the action taken in the meeting held on 4-12-2007.
1) M/s. Azakem Labs Pvt.Ltd.,:Action taken is noted.
2) M/s. Nagarjuna Constructions Co.Ltd., :The project proponents representative explained in detail about
the project. The proponent was asked to establish STP in the
initial stages itself, to use tertiary treated water for consumption
purpose and to fulfill the commitments made before the
completion of the project work and the action plan for the
implementation to be furnished to the Authority. With these
conditions, in addition to those proposed by SEAC, the Authority
accorded EC.
3) M/s. Keerthi Estate Pvt Ltd., :The Authority verified the revised plan submitted by the
proponent. It has been observed that the revised plans
submitted by the proponent in different dates show no
correlation with STP, green cover areas, utility of the kharab
land as shown.
Hence, the Authority decided to take an
undertaking from the proponent for the strict implementation of
the submitted revised plan including commitment that the A4
area shown in the plan will be retained as green area even in
future.
Since, construction has commenced prior to the
approval of Environmental Clearance, it was decided to refer to
the Government for taking suitable action.
With these
conditions, in addition to those proposed by the SEAC, the
Authority accorded EC to the project.

4) M/s. Amsri Builders :The Authority noted the action taken.

6) M/s. Skyline Housing & Construction Pvt.Ltd., ;The Authority deferred the subject till the information is received
from the proponent.
7) M/s. Belagal Quartz Mine:The Authority noted the action taken.
8) M/s. VSV Clay Mines :The Authority noted the action taken.
9) M/s. Mysore Mineral Limted Ubbalagundi Iron Ore
Mine:The Authority noted the action taken.
10) M/s.Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd., :The Authority noted the action taken.
11) M/s.Nitesh Residency and Hotel Pvt.Ltd., :The Authority noted the action taken.
Fresh subjects:1. M/s. Brigade Courtyard:The Authority observed that the proposed green cover area in the
plan submitted by the proponent is only 12.6% of the project
area, hence the subject deferred. The Authority decided to ask
the proponent to submit revised plan with minimum 33% of
project area as green cover.
2. M/s. Sterling Terraces:The Authority observed that the discrepancies in the built up
area shown in the application form is 52,188.18 Sq.m and in

Electrical load shown 58,440.87 Sq.m, hence the subject was


deferred. The Authority decided to ask the proponent to submit
the clarifications with details to the Member Secretary.
3. M/s.Christ College:The Authority examined the proposal and accorded
Environmental Clearance with condition to maintain 33% of the
project area as green cover and implementation of the
commitments made by the proponent. It was decided that atleast
10 awareness campaigns on environmental issues should be
conducted every year by the Institute with intimation to the
Authority.
4. M/s. Klassik Benchmark:The Authority observed that the construction activity of the
project and decided to refer the matter to the Govt. for needful
action. The Authority decided to obtain revised plan with clear
calculations of green cover area, location of STP on the site plan
and present land use pattern from the proponent.
5. M/s. Amrita School of Engineering:The Authority examined the project and accorded EC. It was
also decided that atleast 10 awareness campaigns on
environmental issues should be conducted every year by the
Institute under with intimation to the Authority.
6. M/s. Perk Inn International Ltd.,:The Authority observed from the proposed project area that the
area reserved for green cover is very less. The proponent
submitted in his letter dated:18.12.2007 to take up planting
activity in an alternative land, which was accepted by the
Authority.
The Authority accorded EC after ensuring the
commitment with undertaking.
7. M/s. Maverick Holdings and Investments Private Ltd.,:The Authority examined the project and accorded EC. And
decided to issue EC letter after obtaining the details of 33%
project area earmarked for green belt and the Solid Waste
Disposal plan.

8. M/s.Shriram Properties Ltd.,:The Authority examined the project and accorded EC and
decided to issue EC letter after obtaining
NOC for UGD
connection from the Project Proponent.
9. M/s. Hospital Project:The Authority examined the project and accorded EC.
10. M/s. Prestige Forum Mall:The Authority examined the project and deferred because STP
management plan, green cover area plan is not clear and no
water supply commitment letter from the concerned Authorities
is produced.
11. M/s. Magna Warehousing and Distribution Pvt.Ltd.,:The Authority examined the project and accorded EC subject to
the undertaking from the project proponent about the
maintenance of silence zone, using of clean fuel for DG sets and
submission of characteristics of chemical sludge and its
disposal.
12. M/s.Nitesh Estates Pvt.Ltd.,:The Authority examined the project and sought further
clarification from the proponent about STP, SWM and revised
plan showing calculations of the areas for building construction,
green cover, pavements and roads.
