Save Youth Future Society (SYFS) is a non-governmental, non-profit and independent

society founded in Gaza in 2001. SYFS work is informed by the necessity of creating
independent, self-reliant initiatives that lead to the achievement of sustainable
development, and which incorporate values of self-sufficiency and self-empowerment.
SYFS is desirous to recruit the following positions:
Title: Project coordinator
Place: Save Youth Future Society Office, Gaza
Starting date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative and technical supervision, follow up and implementation of the
program activities.
2. Supervision of technical and professional staff involved in the program activities
that fall within his/her responsibility.
3. Ensure all program activities are implemented in a timely manner and according
to donors rules and regulations.
4. Plan and conduct regular field visits to ensure proper activities implementation
on the ground.
5. Prepare periodical reports as requested by SYFS and donor in consultation with
the Executive Manager.
6. Assist the Executive Manager in monitoring and evaluating the program by
reporting to donor on the program outputs and outcomes.
7. Contribute to the development of new program ideas in the field of work.
8. To document all activities of the program and maintain an efficient program filing
system including all program related documents.
9. Perform any other tasks required by Executive Manager.
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or other related field
2. Three years of professional experience in project management, preferably with
experience in working with NGO's.
3. Professional level in both Arabic & English language skills.
4. Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English & Arabic.
5. Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
6. Advanced computer literacy.
7. Ability to work under pressure and within a team

Title: Site Supervisor


Place: Gaza Strip
Starting date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the daily progress of the program activities.
2. Close follow-up of program staff and contractors in coordination with the Project

Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience:


1. University degree in Social Sciences, Political Sciences or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 progressively experience in similar field.
3. Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English & Arabic.
4. Independent and self-motivated, with the ability to work in a team
5. Good knowledge of geographically assigned environment
6. Respect for confidentiality, with diplomacy and negotiation skills

Title: Field coordinator


Place: Gaza Strip
Starting date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
1. Introduce and represent the project in the target communities, and establish
community links
2. Identify CBOs, youth organizations, and all other stakeholders in the target
areas that the project will work in, to verify their relationships, responsibilities
and capacities and needs
3. Coordinate all meetings for all project staff in the Field with respective partners
4. Coordinate all trainings and project activities in the localities where the project
works
5. Conduct regular field visits and act as accompaniers to local partners, to ensure
that they gain the necessary skills and capabilities to counter poverty
6. Monitor all field activities and report to the project coordinator on the status of
implementation, required support and deviations
7. Regularly travel to field locations to support and monitor beneficiaries
8. Provide the Project coordinator with regular reports of activities undertaken and
activities planned.
9. Documenting all program phases
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience:
1. University degree in business administration, social studies or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 progressively experience in similar field.

Title: Psychologist
Place: Gaza Strip
Starting date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
1. Gather input for program development and monitoring, rolling out standards,
methods and tools.
2. Ensure that SYFS methods and standards for the implementation of PSS
programs are developed/revised and remain updated based on SYFS
programming practice and international standards.
3. Implement SYFS quality standards and PSS Minimum standards.
4. Stimulate and monitor PSS programming.
5. Support the revision of the PSS methodology and the development of new
methodologies.
6. Suggest modifications of sessions and exercises in order to adapt to changes
occurring in the work environment, based on the feedback from trainees and
children.
7. Plan, implement and evaluate training courses on SYFS PSS methodology, which
involves creative tools such as games, songs, fine art, audio-visuals, group
discussions, demonstrations, and practice sessions with feedback and role play.
8. Provide ongoing support, guidance and advice to program staff in the field of
PSS.
9. Provide recommendations to SYFS management when necessary on recruitment
of potential facilitators and animators.

Support the identification and packaging of PSS advocacy issues.
11.
Provide Project coordinator with PSS reports and recommendations.
12.
Perform any other tasks required by Executive Manager.
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor Major in Psychology.
2. Minimum working experience of 3 years.
3. Experience working with people affected by violence.
4. Experience in conducting individual/family/group psychotherapies for adults,
teenagers and children.
5. Experience in community psycho-education.
6. Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English & Arabic.
