One day, a mechanical engineer, electrical
engineer, chemical engineer, and computer engineer
were driving down the street in the same car when it
broke down.
The mechanical engineer said, I think a rod
broke.
The chemical engineer said, The way it sputtered
at the end, I think its not getting enough gas.
The electrical engineer said, I think there was a
spark and somethings wrong with the electrical system.
All three turned to the computer engineer and
said, What do you think?
The computer engineer said, I think we should
all get out and then get back in.

The Scotty license plates are in and theyre flying off the
shelf! At left is GHS Athletic Director Brenner Flaten with
master mind Mike Pehlke who came up with the idea about
two years ago, when they came out with those beautiful
solid blue plates, he explained. And that is how long the
process has taken to finally get these plates approved,
printed and finally delivered. Chuck Barstad was the first
Scotty fan to get down to the Valley County Courthouse
and purchase his set. Designed by GHS Superintendant
Bob Connors, the initial cost is $40 and then $20 to keep
them up to date the following years. Proceeds go to Scotty
athletics. Valley County Treasurer Brenda Anderson is a bit
irritated at the Montana DMV because well, lets just say
theyve been jacking us around on these plates. Brenda
initially ordered 200 sets and they finally came up with 50
sets. They dont think we will sell that many because other
communities dont, Brenda explained. They dont realize
that THIS IS GLASGOW! But as mentioned, the plates are
going fast and Brenda has already put in an order for more;
hopefully this time around there shouldnt be any delay.
