You can commit to asking one person each day. Use email, fax, social networking systems, and our online fundraising system.
Set a personal goal of $150 to earn an Amazing Grace Walk T-shirt or raise $300 and also earn a summer-weight hooded sweatshirt.

What if I cant be there the day of the event or it rains?

The event is a short one-mile, family-fun stroll or bike ride. Ask individuals to sponsor you with a single, tax-deductable gift for your
participation in the event. Participants may bike or walk further if they are so inclined or simply join us for a fun day at the park!

How do I raise pledges?

Metro Womens Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit pregnancy resource center in Crystal, MN. We exist to educate the community about
pregnancy alternatives so life-affirming decisions can be made concerning the outcomes of pregnancies. The Amazing Grace Home
is a program of Metro Womens Center that provides safe, Christ-centered housing and services for pregnant women over age 18.
The Walk/Bike will provide ongoing operating funds for on-site staff, a case manager working directly with the residents, utilities,
insurance, household expenses and programming for the women.

No problem! You can walk/bike on your own in your favorite park or indoor space and mail your sponsor form and pledges to our
Crystal office by May 16th. If it rains, bring an umbrella or choose to walk a different day. Just mail your sponsor forms and donations
to our Crystal office.

Do I have to collect my sponsors pledges myself?

Yes, please collect pledges at the time you request sponsorship. At registration on walk-day, turn in your pledge forms and funds you
have collected. Verify that the address section is complete for each sponsor so we can thank them. If you use the online fundraising
tools indicated below, your sponsors contribute online.

ONLINE FUNDRAISING ELIMINATE THE PAPER SPONSOR FORM AND COLLECT ALL YOUR PLEDGES ONLINE!
Through the FundEasy system, participants can easily create their own webpages and invite sponsors to pledge online. Participants will have the ability to upload pictures
and add their fundraising goals and personalized messages. They can then email their webpage directly to their friends, family, and co-workers or post to social media.
Sponsors make their pledges directly through the webpage and can pay immediately. Participants will also be able to send email reminders directly from the online system.

The Amazing Grace Home, a Christ-centered home, is a
program of Metro Womens Center. This safe home offers
women facing unplanned pregnancies a chance to make
serious life changes for themselves and their babies.
The Amazing Grace Walk/Bike gives those who care about
these women and their babies an opportunity to help in
very practical ways. When friends, family, and co-workers
sponsor a walker/biker, it enables this program to continue
providing the following services:

Spiritual Guidance, Financial Advising
Parenting Training and/or Adoption Education
Opportunities to Complete GED or High School
Life Skills Assessment and Training
Coordination of Quality Healthcare
Job Search Assistance

The walk begins at Moraine Shelter inside the park. There is no fee to enter the park.
Directions: From 494, take County Rd 9 (Rockford Rd) east. From 169, take County Rd 9 (Rockford Rd) west.
The Clifton E. French Park entrance is on the south side of County Rd 9 (Rockford Rd).
